People think only in black and white because that race fetishism is what the current trend is supporting. If it were about providing diversity there would be a lot more variations than just white and black. The dichotomy exists in SFM because a lot of the interracial fans don't care about diversity, providing options for fapping or even the concept of interracial at all, they just want black guys. There's nothing wrong with that, but at the same time it's silly to hide that fetishization of skin color for what it is instead of pretending it doesn't exist.

I'm not sure how you can't fathom connecting someone's motivations when they wear them on their sleeve to the eventual outcome. Every single small group of vocal commissioners/requests gets the same treatment. It happened to the MLP crowd, the diehard futanari fans, the bestiality and the loli/shota stuff. There would be a similar major backlash if the SFM community started getting flooded by misandry-flavored yuri because while some of the hypothetical content might not be objectionable, the ideas behind it would stain it regardless.
