When i import from photoshop to after effects my text layer turns out as the upper text "sample". Its as if the letters are transparent, yet it does take away the background effect.
When i try to use the same font and type it in AE, it turns up like sample 2.
I am kinda new to AE and i have no idea whats going on and what i should do to get me text the way i had it in photoshop, can anyone please help me?

I have no idea whats going on but the font in photoshop doesnt have the weird lines inside like in sample 2. Also ive added some effects to it,etc. But when i import it to AE it shows up as the upper sample (shadow like thing)

well before u import it to ae convert it into one layer in ps so the effects are applied. otherwise open the type window in AE and look if u have an outline on your type

Then how will i be abled to edit the text layer?

All the other fonts are fine, its just this one

Why not just put the text in via AE?

When i do that it turns up witht he weird lines as shown in sample 2, and i have no idea how ot get rid of it. Also, can you apply the same effects in AE as you can in photoshop?
