I have a folder filled with 300 images and videos of content I made. Such as drawings/photoshops/animations. Where do I take off with this? I'm a degenerate and I don't know how to get people to recognize me. I'll post some samples of shit I did. I might be posting photoshits I did for acquaintances so I'll atleast censor /part/ of their faces.
It looks all wrong, I know. I was just thinking of making a dumb presentation on what could've made Super Smash Bros. for Wii U better.

General question here. is it acceptable to take someone else's image, edit it/add your own twist and then claim it as your own or use it commercially?

Good artists copy.
Great artists steal.
Also, mother fucking Jasper Johns!

Just call it a parody.

on a professional level -
in fine art, it's entirely ok to do. it's often labeled appropriation... even though its complete bullshit excuse.
in all other areas of art + design, don't do it. you'll eventually be sent a c&d letter along with a dmca take down notice. the original creator may even go after you for compensation.

You would have to be super clear, SUPER CLEAR in your communication and delivery. If you give the wrong impression, then it's your head on a pike.
