me
John Carmack

>his boss played the games Carmack made as a shit head teenager
We never heard from them and probably never will unless we get a full disclosure of the NSA and CIA payroll
the one that made a file system and shot his wife
>>52974915
Hans Thomas Reiser
You know it's true. Admit it.
I am
>>52975087
Accurate
Bitches don't know about my original programmer.
>>52974521
One of the most famous programmers for his game engines. You never hear about the guys he worked with at SGI or other tech shops that supplied him with some of the cool code he used.
>>52974936
Proof you don't need to be a crack coder to be a good businessman. Doubt he has written a line in years.
>>52975287
>best programmer
>has never written a single line code
>is a glorified tailor
>>52974936
What a tool ass looking motherfucker

Have standards d00d
>>52975339
Calm down, anon, have an actual woman who wrote code.
>>52975405
>invented debugging by literally removing bugs from military computers
She has a warship named after her
>>52975405
Would you eat her out? Just imagine the stench on that cunt senpai. I wonder how wide her hole was before she finally kicked it.
>>52974448
Is it bad that I immediately recognized Fabrice Bellard in the image? Also, he is a great programmer.
>>52974448
>>52974936
>myspace clone in PHP
I think that's literally what they teach you in introductory webdev classes.
The original Facebook did nothing interesting or innovative in terms of programming, its success was entirely dependent on other factors than the actual programming.
Yeah now that there's like 100,000 software guys hired there they probably do some interesting (albeit overengineered) stuff, but I seriously doubt Mark does any programming for production any more.
>>52974543
Does he shit on streets?
>>52975532
I read an article a few years ago that he couldn't even solve a basic programming problem while some entry level programmers were like "really dude?"
>>52975553
Probably not, only the poor and illiterate shit in the streets
>>52975564
Who gives a shit if you got billions of dollars? If I had that much money, I wouldn't care if If I could or couldn't write code, because money > skills.
>>52975564
Sauce?
>>52975594
This is a thread about programming, not who has more money
I ways hated this excise for everything
>durr who cares if he's rich?
>>52975601
It was on Jizzmodo back in like 2010 or something, I was a delusional highschooler
As far as I know, Donald Knuth isn't kill yet.
>>52975629
Because it's a valid excuse? Of course he doesn't care, because he's rich, nor would anyone if they had the same amount of money.
>>52975665
It isn't
Look at all those Rick fucks who Exeter legit races then are way out of their league and slow down everyone else who can race
Oh wait this is /g/ and not /o/, no o e goes outside here
>>52975453
That's disturbing.
>>52975849
The title of the thread says "ALIVE".
What about that dude who programmed Roller Coaster Tycoon in Assembly? Is he still alive?
>>52975453

What's so disturbing?
>>52974521
Didn't he kill his cat because it was acting too bothersome during his programming time or something?
>>52980302
No he raped it

Sorry man but that line of thought is one express ticket to mediocrity. Apply yourself.

Subtle bait but that was Margaret Hamilton standing next to a stack of test printouts.

Torvalds, Carmack, Stallman, and Knuth.
Terry A. Davis
