How do you decide what to download? I'm not an audiophile, so I don't really hear the difference between FLAC & 320 (I've never directly compared them and only heard 2-3 FLACS) and I might wanna put the CDs on my phone someday, FLACS take up to much space.. What's V0-2?

However, plenty of songs have sections of the song that don't require 320kbps of audio data (silent sections and just less busy sections) but for 320CBR it is always using 320kbps.

V0 is also an MP3 but is variable bitrate known as VBR. V0 is the highest quality variable bitrate mode targeting ~245kbps, V2 is generally the 2nd best and is targeted around 190kbps. But because they are variable bitrate, the bitrate can fluctuate lower, or higher, depending on the song itself and what it requires.


V0 is generally what people go for these days, though some people do still prefer 320CBR.
