>>
>>52947439
>>52947444
Do you even know what botnet means?
>>
it's made by a faggy advertising company
>>
>>52947426

Doesn't have right click view image properties.

Has no REAL way to disable WebRTC so your IP won't leak if you use VPN.

Doesn't remember websites you visit so you'll go through their search engine instead of directly.

Runs Google updates every time you start your PC.

No Offline installer. Creates unique .exe for each install.

Chrome is based on Chromium, not the other way around, and they're both made by Google.

I was about to post a definition contradicting that statement but then you posted

and realized that you are a normalfag. Please get out. Your presence is not welcome here.

Because Chrome manages memory like a lemon.

I'll keep this brief, I limit my time on the clearnet and 4chan doesn't let me post from there. So, quickly, I have it from reliable sources that there is a certain group pushing for the adoption of Chrome based browsers for "reasons". Connect the dots. Take care.
>>
No reason. It's the best and most optimized. I don't work on it and I'm not involved with Alphabet but holy fuck nothing comes close.

google is obviously putting everything into it because it helps them sell ads but it's far and away the best for users and professional developers.
>>
Chromium is the fastest browser
>>
>>52947426
because coc coc is faster.
>>
>>52947426
Because firefox has noscript.
Chrome has copies, but they are shit.

There is a better Chromium based browser:

>Interface that integrates to the OS
>No clumsy download bar.
>Tab previews, tab list.
>Opera Turbo for faster browsing.
>>
Tampermonkey is inferior to Greasemonkey.
>>
>>52949350
>botnet
>>
>>52947426
you're the product
>>
>>52949350
I liked it for the gestures which let me browse while leaning back into my chair all chill, but the performace even on turbo was kinda iffy, and if I closed a tab with a video playing, it would keep playing the sound for a good second. Is it any better now?
>>
>>52949370
Chrome extensions are all pretty much inferior to Firefox addons.
>>
>>52947694
What does that even mean?
>>
>>52949431
It means he tried to make a better joke didn't think about anything so looked at the lemon captchas he got.
>>
>>52949382
On occasion, it'll keep playing the sound for the whole damn video when you click a link, and if you liked it before they jumped aboard chromium, you might get mad at all the feature death. and the settings death.

Haven't used another browser but Opera and Brave on my own pc in years so I couldn't tell you much about speed other than the fact that Opera is faster than an early beta browser devkit.

Really, the one feature that kills me not to have on other browsers is picking up sessions where I left off. Chrome will let you restore if it gets killed by shutdown and such, but Opera can just keep your tabs whenever with no extra step.
>>
>>52947587

lynx.
>>
>>52947426
came bundled with greasemonkey and allowed userscript addons, then suddenly removed functionality from all addons not downloaded from the chrome web store (read: addons not paying google). see >>52949370

javascript features are implemented months behind firefox (es6, proxy lands in 49 while being in firefox for literally years), which is unfortunate because node uses v8

memory management is absolute shit with multiple tabs. just check your task manager

does stupid shit like replace the bookmarks menu with a slow faggy one, then revert it 8 months later after everyone got used to the shit

prevents you from viewing pages it tries to convince you are dangerous, even if you know what you are doing

downloads an entire file then deletes it if it suspects malware, literally forcing you to download your harmless packet editor with another browser

for several weeks it decided the right click and toolbar menu needed to go against the OS and be giant and fucking huge, then reverted after 2 billion complaints

"efficient" memory management typically causes tabs to not load at all unless you're actually viewing them, which is a pain in the ass for browsing multiple pages at once

random javascript spec bugs. like changing the __proto__ of window whereas this causes a type error in firefox like it should

a bunch of other bullshit really but I use chrome anyway regardless

(Older) Firefox has more UI modifying extensions. More customizable, more functional.

Tracks everything you do and stores it on their servers, to then sell it to advertisers.
Basically, every click you make, every breathe you take, they'll be watching you.

Web developers won't go buttmad anymore because they will be able to use new (as in, developed in the last 10 years) web standards!
We can't have that. use IE 8. Be the 0.06% that makes bosses all around the world go "BUT MUH IE SUPPORT!!!". Make the webdev life hell.

It's the new IE, beside Edge being the new IE.
Chromium breaks features in every new version and can't into alternative stylesheets.
