Free speech? Are you not allowed to say bad things about a company in your shitty country. Why are you scared to say what country it is?
>>
>>52941429
Not quite.

>>52941446
This is correct, but even then it isn't illegal. Slander is a civil offense, not a criminal one.
Google (in this case) would need to prove that the lies told about them by Comcast damaged their reputation and/or hurt their business.

Lower adoption rates vs other GoogleFibre Areas in comparison to xFINITY adoption in this specific area?

I could see them arguing that. Probably backed up with "It's common sense to go with the package that is multiple times faster and half the cost of the competition"

In the end, if Google brings Comcast to court over it, it would be down to the judge's understanding of the situation including the technological differences involved. (Meaning understanding the common sense example I just threw out)

I've always thought it's illegal here (Germany), too but I think it actually isn't. It's mainly avoided because it doesn't work that good.
When you're saying "Feature X of our product is better than that of competitor Y" you:
A. are close to an ad hominem, which a lot of people see as a weak argument.
B. may be looking like you're willing to catch any straw to make your product seem better. When you're explicitly saying that your product is better in a very certain respect, you may be implicitly admitting that it's worse in a lot of other respects or even that you fucked up that one feature but just in another way.
