It's not. I use it on my media center computer. It runs Ubuntu and Kodi. I used Ubuntu exculively for quite a few years but my job required me to use applications that don't work on Linux.

Am I the only one on /g/ who uses both Windows 10and Linux? I use Windows 10 for Muh powershell and gaymen, and I use Linux for my important files.

As for the Microsoft thing, this is honestly a good thing, this could mean Microsoft has plans for cross platform support on both Linux and Windows, which in the long run could mean things like DirectX support or a wider variety of programs to use on Linux.

I hope you don't mean PC? Sure, most phones and tablets run a Unix variant, but that's not Microsoft's main concern. Microsoft is all about their PC platform. The people that use Linux distributions seem to prefer using CLI. That's why anything with GUI on it is shitty. I am forced to use CLI on Linux to solve problems that occur out of nowhere. Whereas on Windows, I use command prompt by choice when I want to do hacker level stuffs like ipconfig, netsh, dir, etc.

I never said Linux was bad.

It's just it doesn't run some of my favorite software at 100% performance(or at all for that matter). Their solution is to literally use something entirely different.
