Can you hold your phone in one hand and touch the upper left corner?
Sony Xperia Z2 and it's easy. I would like to have even bigger phone since large screens are more comfortable to use in anything but maybe a phone call.
I could use it with one hand but I never do, I always use two hands. I also have never dropped any of my smartphones and I focus on what I do.
Not exactly the topleft corner, but i didn't have time to aim because i have a short screenshot timer
Yep. Moto E 2nd gen here. Perfect screen size. I could do with a bit thinner and lighter, but I'm not willing to pay more than $40 for a proprietary and disposable device like a smartphone.
Not him, but here's me with my OPO
yes, because my phone is 9 years old, and was slightly outdated even when I first bought it.
nokia 4 life, shit's been dropped a thousand times and even gone through the washer and dryer and it still works perfectly.
Samsung's had it baked for a while.
Yes, but kinda hurts. That's why I liked Windows Phone for having the menu stuff on the lower part of the screen.
Too bad they decided to mimic Android and now you need to go to the upper left corner to get the menu of an app in windows 10 mobile apps
Nexus 6 here, can thumb whole screen with no issue when holding and looking down, letting gravity rest the phone on my pinky. When gripping, like holding the phone above my head in bed, no such luck. Either have to two hand it or suffer hand cramps. Only phone I've ever been able to grip and one-hand without cramping is the Optimus G. The G stands for God, the designer. I swear, if an Optimus G was released today sporting high-end specs, I'd gladly pay $1,000 for it.
Not really, my thumb is not that long and this Galaxy Alpha screen is pretty big. I really miss being able to reach everything on my screen from my old iPhone 4.
I just slide it down, I guess.
What's the big deal?
Yes I can. iPhones have a very nifty feature that drags down any app just enough to let you use reach the top part without having to move your hand/stretch your thumb. It's called reachability.
The WiFi button is probably as far as I can reach.
We could have had good standard but googshill and homosexuals killed it
rip in peace WP the only design that did right
Yea, any larger and it would get interesting.
This is why I am disappointed as hell in mobile Win10, they completely fucked up the great bottom menus and panorama and put in that fucking hamburger menu of all things.
If they are going to copy a crappy design they could at least steal the edge swipe gesture with it.
Then again there might be some hope yet, after people complained about it enough the newest versions of Edge have a bottom menu again.
