>audio devices under 40$
As an audiophile, this is absolutely repugnant. To even think of such an abomination going anywhere near my ears... I'm extremely aggravated now.

Look son, I don't know what your life story is, and quite frankly, I care very little about it. But you DON'T cheap out on your audio device. Cheap out on literally everything you want, but never, ever, on your audio device.

These are two different phenomena.

I don't get very much cable thumping with the jacket pocket I'm placing my smartphone in.

And I guess when something touches the cable occasionally, the low level of noise that creates generally doesn't bother me terribly.

I understand you can't get it from the cheap chink knockoffs you obviously use. An audio playback device is an extremely complex thing, it can't possibly be made so cheap if it is to maintain any resemblance of quality. It just doesn't add up. You probably just have too messed up eardrums to even notice the abhorrent quality you're getting.

> Why do I have the feeling you're the kind of boor who drinks wine out of a shot glass?
Nah, but I might indeed just use any 2 DL+ glass.

Occasionally it gets filled straight by dunking the glass into the very classless plastic bin where it was brewed.

You know, shit that works - not shit that is strongly designed to impress.

I suspect I have spent much more than you have on portable audio.

>audio playback device is an extremely complex thing
So complex that you never bothered to look at the physics of it and think how it is possible? In ear physics are not that difficult, filters give all the remaining tools needed for in-ear sound.

Alright, this is for you fags who want to buy IEMs sub 40€

do NOT listen to these cucks, all of these are shit

I ordered 9 pairs from amazon, all cheap ones. Im not an audiokek, here's my opinion:

The soundmagic e10s were good but no bass at all, if thats ok buy them, they have the best build quality and feel

The Nuforce ne-600X were REALLY good, propably the best sound, but shit build quality

The rest was just bad, dont even consider buying any of these (including the Sennheiser cx 300-II)

I could't open the package of the JVC BassMemes, so idk about that one

And the pistons are a bad meme desu. Maybe they do sound good but they are incredibly uncomfortable. Not worth it imo.

But there was a good pair among them.

Yes I know they have that "dude weed lmao" feel to them but they are built like a tank and the sound by far the best. They even have lots of bass

and you get a nice carrying pouch. got them for 38€

They're the ear buds that came with Zunes. There are magnets in them so you can stick them together for storage. I used it to stick them to the side of my fridge so I'd always know where they are when I need them. Probably why I still have them today.

The only complaint I have about them is that the cord is textured so when it rubs against itself it makes a bit of noise like corduroy pants do.
