If there wasn't a leak though, nothing really to do about it. We aren't interested in cam rips, we in the private tracker scene tend to go for quality over ease of access. I'd much rather wait a month and get a ~20GB rip, than to get a 2GB cam rip today.

i have two little questions

whats the average amount of torrents an average user seeds on private trackers like ptp (i seed 50+ torrents and i think thats a ton). also does seeding a ton of torrents look suspicious on your isp's side or are there no visible connection unless the torrent actually seeds instead of idling.

You can store them however you'd like. I just put my files in /home/name/Downloads.

I'm assuming you are using a remote client or WebUI or something, so when you transfer the files you'll have to set the location to the files when you add the torrent. Sorry if that sounds confusing.

I'm nearly into HDB, i'm on every tracker i care about that's worth a damn, and have buffers of at least >4TB on each movie tracker. One general tracker has 30TB of buffer.

but I got a seedbox from feral and had to learn how to ssh into my server and install some files and do a few other things, failry use just reading and doing the commands.

I used 'kitty' for ssh. I know knowing linux would help me learn a bit more but besides learning about the technologies and how it works from hak5, I don't know really of any resource-besides what I'll learn what I need to in order to get what I need to get done.

BUT if there is a specific site you have in mind with information related to how the servers are set up for seedbox or I guess info that would overlap. I'd appreciate it.

It's easier to remember how to do things because it's something I'm into at the moment, PT's.

Honestly just learn a few basic commands, cd and ls being two of the biggest, mv cp rm mkdir. Learn how to use a text editor, nano is definitely the easiest one. Learn how linux systems are structured, the only really important thing to know on a shared box though is that all YOUR shit is in /home/you/. Use PUTTY as your ssh tool on windows. That's honestly enough to get by, also the feral wiki has a lot of information and instructions for getting shit done that you might want.

I was surprised to see how big the wiki really was and was sold that I had made the right choice in seedbox provider, at least for my needs and having a helpful wiki, those in the IRC have been nice as well to help.
