>have T430 thinkpad
at night shit post at a 24hr DK donuts

why do faglords complain about being homeless ?
Where do you sleep at night?
How often do you get robbed?
I live in Asian neighborhood in queens NYC
I don't get robbed
heres my shed boys
>at night shit post at a 24hr DK donuts
Don't the employees chase you out?
Can you guide us through a day of your life? I want to know how you get by, because it sounds pretty awesome
You too, pls tell me how you became successful
>take a morning shower at the gym maybe change clothes using a locker room
>I just plug my one adapter into the wall and sit on my arse for like 8hrs at a time at the local library
>2 usb cables plug into my laptop one for the phone that doubles as a unlimited 4G hotspot with Verizon that I pay 29.99$ a month with the neetbux
>one to charge my Anker Battery bank 25600mah
>keep water bottles in my backpack and some ready to go meals usually just pre packaged organic vegetables and chicken
after the library closes I make my way to the DK Donuts / DQ across the street
yep I'm in flushing
I love that 5.75$ 4+1 dish you get at that Happy Food place
all in all its pretty comfy
I have a spare solar panel in my backpack
>homeless in NYC for two years
>can't afford rent with current job, decide to save money
>sleep in car during summer, sleep on train during winter
>shit, shower, shave, (and lift) at gym for $20/month
>store all my clothes in trunk, do laundry twice a week
>shitpost from my phone, do work/studying at either McDonalds, library, or based 24hr Dunkin Donuts
>/fit/ as fuck now
>$50k saved in bank so far, hoping to reach $100k in a year or so
I can't complain about being homeless. It was/is the best experience ever.
I would honestly rather be fucking homeless than wagecuck or at least run some sort of business
Godammit I want to do this one day too but I need my phone and don't know how else to survive, I want to see what it's like to be homeless and then start from the ground up getting a little job then saving Money n stuff.
Feels bad man
I'm from the NYC area.
Grew up with a lot of family issues. Dad ran my credit to the ground, and I had nothing going for myself. no job, no prospects. Lived in NJ and only jobs were in NYC. Finally got myself a shit tier job in NYC but couldn't afford to commute, so I tried sleeping in my car and realized it works. Found my little niche in Queens, accessible to everythjng I need, including my gym. Keep my car parked there, take the subway to work and return to my car to sleep. Started making more money but decided to save up for a better future and self improvement
Alright guys here's my routine
>3 different shirts, 2 pair of quality jeans. 2 underwear, 1 pair of socks
>shave hair , keep a little sharp sissors for maintenance
>get gym membership for shower and cleaning working out is great too.
> only use homeless shelter for last report ( you only can stay there for a few weeks , use to get a little job or something)
>get sunscreen for when begging.
> brush teeth once week with baking soda and lemon if can.
> get cheap instant food with high protein (usually 99 cencts store)
> use train to get around, they don't mind if you say you want to tag along
> get whiteboard and marker much cheaper than getting cardboard all the time
> make friends with homeless, they can really watch your back (met Vietnam veteran like this)
>don't get scared. Your hunger and thirst will make you pretty confident into going out and earning money
I was a neet and got kicked out after my parents died, I only had 1 month of prep and sold all my things for these little things.
It's no problem anons, its a good experience that makes you appreciate what you have. Now I live in a little appartment and have a nice little job to work in and I'm going to college hopefully this August!
Yeah I was asking because they seem pretty strict with checking if people pay where I live. I guess that's mostly to catch assholes that have no reason not to pay though.
Don't supermarkets in murrica have free coffee? And aren't there drinking water taps in parks or something?
What's the point if you're only getting by from begging? Sounds shit.
Do you have some sort of goal you're working towards?
>only brushing your teeth once a week
Anyway, I still wish you good luck, Anon.
Winter is easy as shit. I just sleep in the car with the car idling for heat. If it gets too cold, I sleep on the E train. Plenty of heat, and it runs all night, completely underground, and no one bothers you.
Sold all my shit on CL for the past year preparing for my job's eventually being laid off some shitty telemarketing
Only left with a phone and a laptop
Signed up for food stamps get 196$ to spend only on food a month not bad at all
Live at the library, gym and do donuts
Get chicken parm sub's with neetbux
Holy shit why reeeee tards still paying Jew rent?
I know there's a lot of ways to make money, even e-begging for a real or fake reason/cause (GoFundMe).
The thing is, it's not wealth (passive income), and gigs are not jobs. When it comes to living, you want it to be reliable, and you also want to live easily and not overwork, so it's interesting to me to see how people balance it out.
This is a homeless powerneet thread, not a beggar thread
> use train to get around, they don't mind if you say you want to tag along
Doing this in australia will cop you with a $100 infringement fine every time some indian officer comes along to check your ticket, and there's about a 25% chance of coming across one every time you ride.
They don't play the sympathy game and take you to court shortly after not paying it.
I really couldn't imagine being homeless. I've always had a nice place to live whether with my parents or on my own. I really do respect the people that can live like that, and especially those that can get out of it and live a really nice life after all.
I've seen this in most major cities in the US. In Seattle we only recently implemented buses where we could do this and I see it probably 1/5 I have to ride one of these routes with these pathetic fucks. At my most poor I still made sure I could take the fucking bus. Yes, I've had to beg the bus driver to let me ride for free. I just didn't do that every day.
What's the point? They're homeless/unemployed. Pushing them through the judicial/prison press only means a lot of tax money wasted. If they're that determined to get rid of them in exchange for tax bucks, just build more shelters, it's cheaper.
>I was a neet and got kicked out after my parents died
sorry about that mate, hope things get better for you
Yeah it's hella cheap, and less frustrating to take the train rather than drive. It costs me $116.50 for monthly unlimited rides, rather than $300+/month for gas/tolls/parking.
I just leaved my car parked, and drive only when I need to go where the train doesn't go.
Anyone have any experience with living in a van? It sounds like it could be comfy and a very cheap alternative to having an apartment, as long as you can find a place to park it.
I don't think it's only a burger thing desu, it's just that you haven't had any personal contact with the kind of people who end up without a home just like that. If you have no job to pay the rent and no family to support you, what else are you gonna do?
Credit fraudis not nice anon hope his van explodes
Yes. I've been homeless in Japan for a week, getting an internet connection was least of my problems. And since I could always sleep/shower in a Manga kissa, the only real issue was walking around with a fuckton of luggage all the time. You really need a place to store your stuff, even when temporarily homeless.
Related, browsing the internet on an OpenPandora with free Family Mart Wifi.
Further related, using free wifi in a capsule hotel (one night ~40$, pretty expensive in comparison with a cheap manga kissa but better than sleeping in McDonalds)
Final picture, neeting at MosBurger.
Sold all my shit only carry a dell venue pro 8 and a note 2 for 4G unlimited tethering Verizon
Only have a empty water bottle a jacket on my back and some cargo pants
Get yyour shit on my level
the internet has truly lessened the burden of alienation in foreign countries, or just social isolation in general.
imagine being in japan, without access to any english-speaking media, nevermind media from your native country. the culture shock would be suffocating.
>work shit tier job so I can move out
>manage to to get a solid schedule + whopping $1 bonus for slaving the night away.
>quit 8 months later
>bought absolutely nothing the whole time I worked besides gas food and car insurance, no rent or utilities
>somehow have less money than when I started
One night is 4k yen? Holy shit. I'm in a similar position dealing with foreigner shit while getting an apartment. Asakusa capsule is 2200 yen and has mini onsen and nice internet. 1700 if your a student. The manga cafe nearby is 1900 if you enter around midnight which you can waste in sazeriya with a drink bar only (180). If you want even less time, stay at saizeriya as long as possible.
You people make being homeless sound glamourous but I know that when I eventually end up that way ill end up dying from the cold after one night. This kind of thing only seems doable if you live in a big city with lots of facilities.
Or you can invest in winter stuff. I'm outside in the cold in Utah and it's been fucking 10 degrees at night. Not comfortable, but it works. Warming up though so more comfort is coming.
Sleep on the edge of town somewhere away from other people and in the nearby wilderness.
Wash your clothes at the laundromat. You do have SOME money, don't you?
What's wrong with showering in a gym?
The money saved by not paying rent can send you to other countries easily. Adventure, anyone?
That sounds awesome. I've seen a couple of tiny houses vids on youtube.
>work full-time fast food job
>have an apartment with girlfriend
>could just barely afford all of the expenses on my own, so between the two of us there's some wiggle room
>only have like $2k saved because my extra money ends up going toward going out or random shit I want or things we need around the place
Boring as fuck compared to you guys. At least you don't have to spend 40 hours of week being a wageslave.
I've known there were lots of homeless people on 4chan for a while now. They all shitpost on mobile devices or laptops and spend more time here than anyone else. They get banned constantly but they don't care because they keep finding new IPs
>Parents abused me from when i was a kid.
>Have a gf for 2 years.
>decided to stop living at home.
>spoke with my manager and arranged a mattress and sleep at work.
>shower at work
>dont have a car
>go to my gf at weekends.
>sad as fuck
>dont have a place to relax and be myself
Maybe my situation is different because i dont speak with my parents but I feel lonely as fuck. Sleep on the floor. Feel like garbage.
Being homeless is not always fun....
I make over 100k/yr and have a remote job. I often fantasize about living in a nice van. alternate parking it at different Walmarts. I rent space at a cowork place so I could just keep doing that and park my van in their lot full time. Save money like crazy. I bet I could save up 50k in a year no problem. 3 years I could own a very nice home and pay cash.
I own a $140k home right now. Owned it for 8 years, still owe like $120k almost. Fuck 30 year mortgages. Fuck the banks and their bullshit interest schedule. Own a home for 8 years and still 80% of your payment is going to interest.
That sucks anon. Maybe cruise craigslist for people looking for roommates? Where I live there are even some hippy types that have comune style living arrangements. How much rent could you afford?
I dont live in the us so no craigslist.
I didnt want to rent a room because it would force me to ask my parents for financial help.
Tldr: my monthly income is around 200$.
Long story: i serve in the army in a small base located in the city as a programmer. So i dont get loads of cash. Furthermore, the base is considered "open" in the sense that you can not sleep there because it has no official beds and shit.
Right now, i go to a psychologist and i try to communicate with my family better so i can consider moving in as a roommate close to my work, and probably will.
I just wanted to point out, that being a homeless person can suck cucs...
All you really need is a x86 windows tablet 7-9" and a phablet
I don't have any possessions and I don't feel like its worth my time or effort to find work in order to just rent a place
I'd be comfy with just a van down by the river with solar panels and a tablet
>At least you don't have to spend 40 hours of week being a wageslave
This is the best fuxking part
I've seen the homeless sleeping on the trains and stations snoring while I'm there at4:30am to start cucking my day away
You can basically do everything besides gaymen
And if you get like a HP slate 7 you can just jam that shit in your cargo pants and be on the go 24/7 365
How do you keep your anus clean when the showerheads in the gym are not detachable? I am Lucky there is always one shower in every psyche ward i've been in that has a detachable shower head So I can keep Nice and clean.
I had no choice, was kicked out on my ass by my family after returning from my marine infantry training and the way the Danish system handles 90% of people who somehow end up english is just forced social dumping.
Fish and chips up spot o tea knickers me mum god save the queen
Days how viper
I had a gf for 3 years, we was going to get married
she died in a car crash with me driving
Looking back I should have died in that car crash
I just want peace and to be comfy now be it a van or a train station doesn't matter much to me
T-Mobile here. Is it some namefag called hyperia or something like that? Happens to me all the time too.
You've never been b&?
The ban screen shows you the name you were posting with when you got b&.
It's on the ban report. And whoever this hyperia dude is, he ain't posting with a trip, just the name.
I don't know about where you live but here in FL:
>all walmarts and Sam's club offer free coffee in the morning
>nearly every retail store has water fountains
>every restaurant CANNOT deny you free water. The cup size they can though
But this is also the bullshit state where it's technically illegal to be homeless. Not that that will hold up in court though, but if a cop wants to be an asshole they could arrest you for it. It is illegal to feed the homeless without some special permit or some shit. I can't back up my claim, but I heard it was because the Salvation Army wants the homeless to go to them and so they supported laws to practically outlaw it. But I'm gay and was kicked out.
learn to dumpster dive, it's awesome, tons of unopened and vacuumed packaged goods that are simply near or just over their expiration, or products that have been returned and had their cords cut. I've got so much electronics and foods from CVS and Aldi I didn't need my foodstamps anymore and I actually made money fixing stuff up and selling it on craigslist, or just recycling it.
