What cheap Chinese tech have you bought, and would you recommend it?
Reminder not to buy batteries or things you're gonna eat/drink with from Chinese sites.
I don't really trust a great deal of these Chinese sellers and sites with my credit card info. Is there a kind of prepaid card that I can get at the store that can be used internationally in lieu of my credit card?
Not him, but same problem moron. He doesn't want them ANYWHERE near his actual finances; he wants an option that's very cut and dry in terms of him giving them no more money than he decides.
I know a lot of people in the US talk about pre-pay credit cards that seem to me like they're sold in Walmart. I'm from the UK and haven't ever seen one myself, but if your from the US, like I say, seems like you CAN get them.
That's worse you fucking autist. At least with a credit card you can contest the charges without losing anything, if they scam your debit you're SOL and without your money until the case is investigated and resolved.
Waiting foe these.
They're under contract by them so they can't fuck around with the batteries as all the blame would go to Applel in this case.
Meanwhile if you buy a battery from some shady seller, you have no idea how many corners they've cut.
your cc details are handled by ali, not the individual seller.
So when you buy a 3 dollar thing, ali takes 3 dollars, and in 3 months when the fucking thing finally arrives, and you click "I received my shit", then they give the 3 dollars to the seller.
So it's really a matter of whether or not you trust Alibaba, the world's largest online wholesale trading site, worth over 250 billion US dollars, with your measly fucking credit card.
Two packages are still missing from November.
I already knew about earth -> probe ground though.
you can check youtube on it, great sounding mic for cheap.
I have 2, and they are not sharp and quite useless.
I'd suggest a real leatherman wingman.
interested as well, but these work http://www.ebay.com/itm/141836222356?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
>All the package are very DIRTY and the plastic box are obviously used.
> "obviously used. "
>An egg shaped sex toy to jerk off into
Obviously never bought anything from China. Give it a few more days. It's 4 - 7 business days, plus the mail exchange fucks around with things.
do i win /csg/?
and the keyboard
this is the best thing short of buying a surface3
the next closest thing would be ASUS model, but it has a 1280x800 resolution
Well I did just receive that.
And it's pretty damn fine. Only issue I have with it is the god damned wi-fi. It's fucking shit. I get 30 mbps down on my desktop, and I fall to 5 mbps with the teclast, and I fall below 1 mbps if I decide, god forsake me, to use the keyboard cover, making the wi-fi pretty much non-functionnal on top of having poor performance.
That said, I almost wish now that I had waited for the Cube i9, because it looks like everything I wanted. Unless they pull out a i9 Stylus, because then I'd be disappointed to know that I bought a 12" tablet without stylus.
Anyone know where to cop a CTL-480? I need it for osu!, but official wacom store is expensive af
yeah, i got the chinkdink to specifcially use outdoors while backpacking. as its light plastic and comes with the intel atom x5, which is an amazing processor for its 2w operation. seems to work with solar chargers as its a 'mobile' 5v windows device
does the CPU inside the cube use only 2w TDP?
finally got the rest of the stuff i needed to add a video feed and osd back from my drone. shit took a while, but free shipping from ebay is showing some good results in the end
yeah, the intel atom x series is real impressive
they hardly use any electricity, and they are extremely fast for what they are
you can even game on them. it will play skyrim on the lowest settings at above 30fps
remember, this is a 2watt CPU
thats pretty amazing
i have been impressed with intel HD graphics ever since 3000
technically they are the most powerful GPU in terms of efficiency.
With all the talk of Chinktablets here, has anyone tried using the Cube i7 Stylus? I need something to take notes on and have never really used a tablet computer. Should I just get an x220 tablet?
Although I am indeed originally from the US, I currently live in a shithole country overseas.
There are no "garage sales" over here, and the so called "proper ones" are extremely pricey, whether it's buying them offline or on Ebay or Amazon.
Taking that into account, buying Chink is my only option, really.
Anyone ever bought an iPhone from Chinese sellers on Aliexpress?
The feedback looks okay but I'm still very skeptical.
s-sorry, here I think these could be considered, professional hit man weapons and they do look classy.
Dunno why you're buying a 15 pack, but I have the non-bluetooth version and they work.
Mine has a microSD card slot and an mp3 player built in. I loaded mine up with Dragnet episodes for when I'm doing yard-work.
Paid around $2.67 for mine shipped on ebay.
How prevalent are Xiaomi fakes?
I want to buy a Redmi Note 3 off Ebay instead of a chink site so I don't need to wait until fucking March or whatever for delivery, but I don't want to be ripped off
>no one mentioning k3 Note Masterace
>5.5" 1080p IPS
>8 core 1.7ghz
>open source bootloader for fucktons of custom roms
>official android 6.0 rom
>bloatware below chink-average
Don't bother with the k4 note. It's the k3 with slightly different specs with a completely different aesthetic. The normal k3 isn't much too, the note is where it's at.
Try ebay or Craigslist. Wacom is the apple of the graphics tablet world so there's a price premium. You can try a Huion 420 or whatever it's called. I have the official osu! Tablet which is that model but rebranded and it does its job compared to my ctl 460.
that is very large, and they haven't fleshed out a keyboard for it yet
but the price is great.
really wish more people made atom x5 regular netbooks rather than this offbrand chinese tablet shit, which i really dont trust (memory and storage are probably junk)
toshiba and asus are the only atom x5 manufacturers i know of.
but the toshiba's are overpriced and the asus has a shit screen and rather heavy weight
just note it will literally take a month for it to ship to your door, the only downside to aliexpress is you have to go through their free insanely slow shipping, i've bought shoes off there and they took so long to get to me I forgot I even bought them in the first place
you dont have to worry aliexpress is safe, the website is a hub where vendors "set up shop" and peddle whatever chinafake shit they're selling, however with payments your cc payment goes to aliexpress NOT the vendor until you receive the item, inspect it and then you can either approve aliexpress to pay the vendor or deny them, if you deny them however you need a good reason like something was broken.
After opening it to evaluate it's condition I was quite surprised, it was very lightweight and solid, only had 3 hours of battery life but for a £200 laptop with 6gb of ram and an old i3 I wasn't that fussed about the battery life
Someone still uses that crappy pile of bugs?
Anyhow, since this is for speech, literally just look for "usb microphone" or "condenser microphone" on aliexpress and pick any whose looks you like that has sufficiently good ratings.
Asian sizing is terribly small and the measurements they put in the description is usually off. There is promising pieces, though you should be very careful when ordering. I used to buy replica designer clothing.
Sure. I got quite a few. Some were for a girl, some for myself.
No girl clothes for myself, but you get the idea.
Either way, if you pay attention to sizing it's usually fine. Some clothes only fit underweight (by BMI and everything, not the US "oh, they're so slim, no huge fucking pot belly") people with no muscles in the right size, though, you very often want one size bigger.
Yeah, batteries are ok to buy. Lots of products that people here buy have batteries in them, bluetooth devices, laptops, phones, etc. all bateries generally have higher stated capacity than they really have.
You can expect the cheaper batteries, and basically all non-brand powerbanks to have greatly exaggerated capacity. Like half of the stated capacity at best. Sometimes they are even filled with sand.
Chink batteries aren't terribly unsafe though.
The design on the t-shirts is achieved with whatever technology, and it's advertised as "3d printed".
Bought this for $17 and it actually has QC input and output.
I got my OnePlus Two yesterday.
So, far no problems!
Though it does get a bit warm on the back when under use.
Battery isn't what I expected from Android phones. Expected it to last longer, but I suppose the good trade off is that it charges fast. Or what I think it does.
Anyone got any experience with these cheap Lenovo Flip Phones from china? Pic related an A588T, running android. Seems like the specs are OK for the price, really just after something cheap and stylish to shitpost from and can't see why it would be bad.
is there anything like a chuwi hi12 but with a wacom digitizer? I'm looking for something with at least a couple full size usb ports, a hi dpi screen, and newish lowpower chipset, and that tablet is perfect except for the lack of a digitizer.
So is this original or not? http://www.aliexpress.com/item/100-Original-Xiaomi-Power-Bank-16000mAh-Xiaomi-External-Battery-Pack-With-Dual-USB-For-iPhone-6/32368495624.html
The feedback is mostly positive but there are some who say it's fake...
Don't cheap out on headphones unless you want something like this: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/GH901-headset-earphones-fashion-laptop-gaming-headset-belt-Gaming-Headphones-High-Definition-DJ-Headphones-for/1427473341.html
>mfw bought some Sades Gaymurr headphones for 20 dolla
>mfw they sound fucking good.
>tfw only found out about T9 two months before I got my Nexus 4 in 2012.
Is this thing worth it? Or should I get it from somewhere more reputable
Bought a cheap smartphone (Cubot GT99) years ago from China. I also buy shit like cables and LEDs from China. Everything was okay so far. One time I got red LEDs instead of the blue ones I ordered, sent a message to the seller, he told me to keep them and shipped the blue ones anyway.
How about this mini desktop computer g?
It's in chinese but you can understand the specifications, the must expensive includes i7550u 16g ram for 430 euro. Opinions?
I'm thinking about going for it, i already have a screen for it
I got the i7 Stylus in the promotion before Christmas, brilliant tablet with the same specs as the MacBook Air.
There's a little community that's sprung up to mod them, put Linux on it.
How much and where? What kind of battery life do you get with it? I may consider that one despite the OTG connector on the tablet instead of a full size connector.
I have a surface pro 2 and it's great. I replaced my Fujitsu T2020 (essentially an older X220t) with it and it's an absolute blast to take notes on. I've been having issues lately with palm rejection not working at all so when I use it with the pen I temporarily disable all touch input through the device manager. I'm currently looking for something to replace my pro 2 since it's a bit heavier and the battery life sucks. As far as I can tell though the Cube i7 Stylus (and Cube iWork11) and Teclast X98 Pro, Teclast X2 Pro, and Teclast X16 Pro are the only chink tablets worth a damn with digitizers.
I've noticed this trend with a lot of chinese stuff that they are seeming perfect in every way except for one glaring flaw, like no gigabit on an ac router or people who still put otg ports on tablets when there is more than enough room for a full size port (and they have them on their own other models!)
I think I paid about £230 with DHL shipping to get the tablet and the keyboard dock. Battery life is about 7-8 hours.
I had a Chuwi Vi-10 which had the full size USB ports on. I gave to my dad and he put Windows 10 on it, runs better than it did with Windows 8.1.
Honestly the Chinese tablets are amazing value, I would recommend staying with the known brands like Cube, Chuwi and Telcast though.
>want to buy cool stuff from chinks
>get fucked by the taxes of my country
It's like being a hostage, at least if this shithole produced the stuff i wanna buy but they don't...
Fuck this gay earth.
I know your pain. Tablets and laptops/chromebooks costs too much for the shit specs they have over here, and if I buy chink I run the risk of paying out of the ass in import charges.
>tfw bought a sprint phone without compatible 4g bands because i'm stupid
4g isn't that important anyway r-right guys
Had no idea about 4G bands when I bought my Redmi Note 3, pure luck that it supports my networks bands!
easy to use; nice appearance; useful device
Can I get a bluetooth receiver thing I can use to turn a pair of regular headphones into wireless headphones?
I've seen a thing, but there's terrible bluetooth 2.0 quality. According to the reviews.
>keeping yourself fit
why would you do that? it's like you want to stay on this earth forever
Nobody actually gives a shitload of money to the chinks, if you look at the thread most people are buying $1-$200 dollaroos stuff.
They sell lots of cheap gadgets, some are not sold in our countries and some are just too expensive for what they offer if you buy locally.
>wanting to be average
Not him but if you're not fat and don't die after running 200 meters, you are above the average population which is great.
any recommendations for chink tablets that work out of the box with GNU plus Linux?
Using simple arithmetic we can add this "x" sign between the 200$ amount and the number of people giving the chinks the money
200x??? = USD going to China
Even a billion dollars can be broken down into 200$ units.
Meanwhile there's business with their entire production line in China...
People buying stuff from china are ants in the system, especially when most countries will tax the product.
Is there a better place to buy an egpu system that works through an expresscard?
I tried linking the newer version on bplus but the fucking spam filter is going nuts today.
>Literally NONE of the US LTE bands (2, 4, 5, 12, 17)
Into the trash it goes.
If all you use it for is shitposting on /g/ and reading leddit then no, it's really not. 3G is enough to browse the internet and send messages/dick pics with.
I'd only care about 4G if I was going to stream shit like netflix or whatever over cell, which I'd not do anyway
is there a tablet that's at least 10"x15", or 18" diagonal? resolution doesnt really matter. palm rejection is a luxury, but not mandatory.
im a tutor and while i normally use a 10"x15" whiteboard, my clients are willing to pay $25 extra per hour if we record the sessions audio and screen record the whiteboard scribbles.
Which one of these lighters should I buy? I want something to impress my clients with when I offer them a cigar.
What do you guys think of this table top model?
they are allowed to use their phones to record the sessions for free. many of them do, but are still willing to pay an extra $25/hour for the screen record functionality because they said it's easier to follow when theyre reviewing.
I had a feeling that a desk top lighter might be too tacky, What about option g here?
A step down. How about this instead?
I know there are multiple countries here, should have just used $local_country.
Hah, if you think the US is bad, let the chinks turn into a super power, they don't put up with shit posters.
Got a 10w CREE flashlight from Aldi for 15 UKP. Probably way overpriced but seems good thus far.
Ordered some internal blind spot mirrors for my car. Could take a while coming from Chink land. Also got a Haramaki to keep my midrift warm.
Would you use amd bulldozer ? I mean it's fine but not refined. So, so for a small computer you'd want something very powerful yet efficient which first gen i7 are not (basically the same performance as bulldozer).
Either way i was wrong arrive the original poster of the tablet misspelled the processor's name and that aren't first gen but fifth gen which is a completely different ball game.
Gimmie dat info on your setup
I want to do this badly
Are you buggin out?
Good idea to buy sunglasses from china or will I burn my eyes out?
>KO product: the lenses are not glass (as indicated in characteristics), the product was delivered undamaged (except black glasses who arrived with an undocked lens). quality is very poor I will not order again, and not recommend
Do you think 2 bucks plastic glasses have UV protection?
Please tell me that you know that anything has uv protection. Anything thicker than 2 mm at least.
Uv cannot pass through matter. Unless it's very thin matter like "3d glasses" which are just polarised sandwich wrap.
I don't know, aliexpress is basically guaranteed bootlegs so I don't know why they aren't priced accordingly.
It horrifies me that the fact that they remain priced as they are means that someone is probably buying them.
well, that one isn't official by any means.
I got a bootleg figurine before. It took me a half of a week to argue my case, escalate it, and get 100% of my money back.
aliexpress is really on top of the whole bootleg thing. Even though it doesn't do anything to the seller's reputation on the site. (if there's a way to leave a review after getting dispute resolved, can someone tell me?)
Not everything on Aliexpress is a bootleg. If you are looking a figures and shit that you can currently buy and it costs significantly more than if you were to go down to target and buy it then it's probably not a bootleg. However, there is a lot of "unpackaged" shit on there that is a guaranteed bootleg.
I am used to amazon and ebay where they automatically sort products by where they ship to so that you won't be looking at products that only ship to germany if you are in the US. Aliexpress doesn't do that because everything is worldwide. There are things on there that are a stupid ripoff in the US market but a steal (or the only way to get something) in every other market.
Anyone use this shit? I'm thinking of jumping on the 3D bandwagon and have never used any of this shit before.
I reckon I could just get google cardboard or make my own, but the Chinese lettering on the front makes this look so dystopian future. It's pretty fucking rad.
Ask again in 4 weeks and I'll have tried it.
With a 2$ cardboard without straps and made for manlets it was really fucking uncomfortable, and with a smudgy Note3 the picture wasn't that great but it was still pretty sweet for the price
I bought this mouse off of Amazon. It's a chinese mouse that is really fucking good. It's $27.
I then bought their mechanical keyboard for $40 only to realize that it is the EXACT same fucking keyboard as the CM Quickfire. It's amazing.
Laptop's 3.5mm jack crapped out and was only getting audio from the right channel, tried a few different cans so its definitely the jack
Reckon this will do the trick? just got it.
By same, I mean basically everything is identical except for the switches. I imagine that they did that to avoid getting sued for copyright shit.
I can swap the keys and pieces of the keyboard from either one and there is no fitment issues. I don't mean the keys either. I mean like the frame pieces and stuff.
battery life, built solid, clear audio quality, rechargable, easy to use
Holy crap, they have a blonde Hershlag doll!
So what kind of technology is inside of her to merit the high price, /g/?
That's a stretch. From this angle she looks like that too soon girl
Technology? They're made of silicone and they have a high level of detail. That alone makes them expensive. But I doubt the white girl (21'000) is worth more than the asian (1'400).
Is this Jessica Chastain? Have the chinks gone too far?
No fucking clue, they just look like highly detailed dolls.
20000 shekels. I had no clue these things even went that high.
I've decided on a teclast x16 pro. What's the best website to purchase from? Gearbest? Something else? I'm in the US, if it matters. Should I get the keyboard to go with it? I already have a drawer full of wacom penabled tablet pens so I already have a compatible pen (I hope)
>I already have a drawer full of wacom penabled tablet pens so I already have a compatible pen (I hope)
Fug I just realized it's not wacom. The pen accessory for it takes a battery. Maybe I'm not getting an x16 pro.
CAn't find the link anymore, but the same model was available, just improved (4 virtual CDROM, for instance) but I supopse yours is fine too. FEel free to make a post about it once you get it.
>clearly has 4xxx and 5xxx naming schemes
How does it feel to be outplayed by yourself
