Can confirm. One day I drank 4 bottles of 5-hour energy and an hour later I couldn't fucking feel my arms or legs and it seemed sunny as fuck outside even though I could clearly see clouds in the sky. Later on I kept hearing the sound of car traffic inside my fucking house.

1. Get yourself checked.
Seriously. Go to a doc. Get some general tests done. Could be an autoimmune, thyroid problems, diabetes or brain cancer. Just get yourself checked out.
Look for environmental problems.
Amalgam fillings, mold, bad teeth, shit exercise, shit food, shit hygiene.

2. Fix yourself
For me, brain fog was cause mainly by toxic people in my life.
I don't know if a therapist can help you.
Many therapists are morons. But they're your best bet. Don't take medication. Drop therapists that propose medication.
Figure out your problems. Then proceed to solve them.

Eat healthy, hit the gym, get a practice/fat gf, get rid of any guilt or other related self esteem issues. Be a man. Have a job. Feel free. Be independent.

3. Understand it's all shit and kill you're self
Do you suffer from some kind of undiagnosed odd disease? Do you suffer from long-term, nearly incurable health issues? Do you have mental health problems that cripple you in all ways? Just fucking end it.

I had issues for a couple years: frequent brain fog, irritability and distractibility and my short term memory was total shit. It got so bad I could barely get anything done at work.

After seeking help I was diagnosed with depression. Started therapy and got on an NDRI a few months ago and it's made of huge difference.

The point is, take stock of what else might be wrong with yourself and don't be afraid to get help.

There is a guy I used to work with. Drank redbull all day long. At least 48 ounces of the shit. Not only did it make him irritable but also he was always shaking. He would just sit in his chair all day at the office with no valid way to exercise that energy out.

What I recommend is to have tea if you can tolerate it. Decaf./ and compare the context of your work and what you are trying to do to what you are going to consume. If you are trying to focus and having a hard time doing it, then why give yourself more caffeine if you can't think in the first place? Also get up. Change setting. Go to a library or a coffee shop. Change the music to a low volume and put on contemporary or some shit (binaural if you can tolerate). Try eating regularly and full balanced meals as well (yep. its gay but works, sugar != food).

Not the end all be all guide but that is usually my human troubleshooting.

I've never had the shakes. I'm a repair tech, so I need a fairly steady hand, and coffee has never affected me negatively.

It takes about 18 to 20 to get me to feel slightly sick, though.

I also smoke half a pack a day during the week, and hardly pick up a cigarette during the weekends or holidays.

A ketogenic diet. I'm not sure if there's a definitive link, but keto is what they used for years to completely eliminate epileptic seizures in children when nothing else would work. I only drink coffee on workdays and then I don't drink it at all on days off, never noticed anything wrong but maybe it's because I sleep late and generally don't do anything draining on these days.

I do notice that by wednesday the morning coffee already starts losing effect, I have seen people cope with that by drinking it more times in a day.
So I guess that I'm not getting too bad a dependency because I can't be bothered to drink more than one every day

Basic factors: diet, sleep, exercise.

These are like 3 sides of the health triangle. You gotta get them all in check if you wanna feel good.

Then you also need to look at your current health factors. If you are overweight, losing weight should be a top priority. If you have allergies or special health issues always take that into account first before altering your diet and or exercise strategy.

Also i personally recommend fixing your diet and/or focusing on losing weight first. Don't try to start a big exercise routine if you are fat as fuck. Get the diet under control first, you should feel way better just from getting your diet in check. Then work on getting consistent healthy sleep and focus on getting in and maintaining your diet and sleep habits. THEN start a legit exercise program. If u are a fat fuck and you try to exercise you are just going to hurt ur joints with all the excess lard you are carrying around and exercise is going to stimulate your appetite. I see tons of fat fucks killing themselves on treadmills at the gym and they never get skinner because it's so easy to eat back the calories burned and they got this mound of fat they need to deal with first. Like seriously I would recommend fasting and dieting before you even think about exercising if you are a fat fuck. Exercise greatest benefit is not as a weight loss strategy. Exercise is very important but you need to get a disciplined healthy diet and healthy BMI first or else you just end up like that fat cunt on my fat fabulous life tv show. That bitch does all this aerobic bullshit but still chows on pizza and icecream all day and that's why she's a fat blob of shit.

tl:dr - i've dealt w/ brain fog and the cure for me has been fixing my diet, sleep, and exercise. It's not easy and it will take a lot of discipline and work but if you fucking do it and stick to it you should feel way better. If u still feel like shit after fixing diet, BMI, sleep, exercise than see a doctor.
