Headphone stands are technology.
Post yours, preferably DIY ones.
I hammered a nail in my bookshelf to hang the headphones pouches.
Mine is just a 50cm ruler stuck under my amp with some plastic thingy in the hole to prevent the headphones to slip
There's always money in a banana stand
Made this with 4 binder clips.
Is it safe to put headphones on a life size bust or a similar sphere?
I did this with a screw for my headphones on the hutch of my desk. The desk real estate that the stands take up just isn't worth it. Creates clutter. Completely unnecessary. When the headphones are hanging you can't even see the screw.
+Easy to hang & remove
+Really nice looking
-Doesn't block the ear cups
>Omega Sieveking / chinkshit copy
+headphone sit securely on it
+ear cups are blocked from spiders and other scary shit
-not as easy to hang & remove. You need both hands.
Pic is omega.
I see no reason why I'd ever need anything fancier than this
This arrived today, payed 2 quid for it off ebay
I didn't want my headphones on a stand taking room on my desk nor having them stick out from the edge of my table like >>52650613 >>52651194 >>52651314
So I took some copper tube, bent it the way I wanted, put some black camera tape on it and screwed it under my desk.
Cheap, easy, doesn't take up any space and looks good enough since you don't really see it under the desk. Not the copper part at least
>they strain the headband
>put pressure on the earpads
only if the headphone has a strong clamping force
> they don't air out
i dont see the problem with this
>hanging them up is the only acceptable method of doing it
now that strain the headband
this >>52651194 can be turned 90° so it fits on a table leg. It's actually meant for microphone stands but is pretty universal.
$20 on Amazon. Nice aluminum to match my Enthoo Evolve ATX case.
The Bluelounge stand.
I think I got it on sale for $15. I have zero complaints, it's all metal aside from the very top where the headband rests which is rubber.
Yeah I have one of those to use with a mic stand, but what I didn't think to mention that my desk has no legs, it's custom built and mounted on walls
So I shouldn't get pic related?
and yes it's completely safe. It's supported on all sides except the front.
I weigh around 70kg and could comfortably sit on it without doing any harm
Here it is with finished
body of a wood stove fan, picked it up at the swap meet for 5 bucks.
only a dingus would bust out more than 10 bucks for this sort of "technology"
