You need some genuine GPU muscle for it to be anywhere near enjoyable, as beyond the obligatory vidya aspect, the average movie rip is still 1080p, meaning MadVR is coming into the picture at some point, so good luck using scalers on a budget "4k ready" video card or onboard graphics
