You don't even know what you're talking about. The Windows 8 theme did not have the title and menu bars the same color. Windows 10 does if you use the white border color (but even then it's a non-issue, nobody is stupid enough to fail to move a windows by misclicking the large title bar), but you can just use the colored option and it becomes different colors again.

And to all you faggots, go fuck yourselves. First of all, you know nothing about visual design and your (incidently awful) personal tastes do not matter in the slightest.
Second, if it bothers you so much, change the fucking theme. If you're on the technology board and don't know how to use a custom Windows theme, kill yourselves.
Third, desktop threads are all filled with minimalism, every time. But when Windows, Apple and Google do it, "ugh, minimalism is ugly". Fuck yourselves.

Listen, fag, literally EVERY field of visual design started with frivolous experimentation and moved on the simple efficient practices. It happened over a century ago with print, in the last century with editorial and branding, and in the last few decades with motion design. Digital UIs is just going through this now because it's the newest area in visual design.
Just accept that your awful tastes do not matter and that things move towards efficiency whether you like it or not.

In my humble opinion, square borders and flat colors is not a bad thing, I would always disable Aero anyways, I even made me a flat Visual Theme because I couldn't stand others.

If anything Metro was shit, the new W10 design is certainly better, but the whole OS it's still crap regardless, that's without taking on account the shitty menus and other inconsistencies.

Either way, it's Windows, so it's crap anyways. Install Linux you fuckwits.
