Can you get into wipe and reset? I would try to format data, then connect your phone to PC, move ROM package into internal memory and flash it. You will lose all your data but at least your phone will boot up.

I fixed it, seems like htc is an asshole and uses their own drivers, not the universal drivers that work with 80% of androids, which you need to dig out of their site's ass. After that I could do the standard flash twrp while phone is in bootloader, and I tried restoring from the back up again and this time it was done in exactly 109 seconds. Sorry for the thread btw, I know it's against the /g/ code.

Also somehow the system got unmounted (which probably caused the first restore to fail), I mounted it back in twrp to be safe.

Oh nice, I was worried I'd lose my contacts and some videos I took on new year, seems like the botnet got me covered. I actually did a few things to disable the botnet (I guess being a /g/entoomen sometimes makes you do these kinds of autistic stuff), but I guess it's useful sometimes. MODS nuke this thread though

Wow /g/ is hating on the botnet so much, but it saved my 1.65gb of music (torrented and downloaded from shitty sites that have porn ads) and is now restoring it.
