Why are you not using tiny core with your choice of de?

Easy to setup and ease of use for most people is based on the de so that's a non issue.

>decent selection of programs
>not resource intensive
>it just werks

>The default desktop takes about 30-40 MB of RAM to get started with 0% CPU usage. With Firefox playing a Youtube video, Abiword, Gnomeric, Nautilus file manager and terminal open, the RAM consumption was 200 MB

Currently running tiny core on an old athlon xp-m 2000+ and 512mb ram and it's smooth as butter. Give it a try, boot from a usb or setup a VM.

Can I install LXQt 0.10.0 on it?

And what package manager does it use?
>>
>>52628889
Haven't heard of lxqt but it can run lxde.

Package manager is called appbrowser. Or tce if you just want to run the cli.

I've got 32 GB of RAM. Why the fuck should I care if my system uses 200 MB or 2000 MB?
>>
>>52628164
Because I have 18GB of RAM.

>I have 100 watermelon, why would I ever need any other food. Better eat it as quickly as I can
>>
>>52629614
That analogy is idiotic. Stay jelly though.
>>
>>52629648
Why would I be jelly when I have 69GB ram in my desktop?
69, jejeje
>>
Useless in modern desktops

>>52628164
I don't use a toaster so this is pointless for me. I value a good package manager also.

Inb4 applefags call unused ram wasted ram.
