For quite some time IE was the best Mac browser. Its rendering engine, Tasman, was entirely separate from Trident (IE for Windows) and actually kicked a fair amount of ass. It properly supported PNG transparency and CSS for upwards of 5 years before the Windows version did.

As India develops western countries will have a larger talent pool to draw from and as workers demand higher wages jobs will move back westward. The US had an IQ in the 80s prior to WW1 as well, the Flynn effect corrects for that with development; the gene pool is no different.
