I'm using antox daily, at the moment the audio test build. It works great, just drains battery as shit. And the data drain is hard.
But making calls and sending Text messages and pictures is working great.

Mainly i use conversations as an alternative to Whatsapp. In conversations i have everything i need.

Literally impossible to be sure it doesn't scrape your communication to Google and beyond if you're using the nonfree malware on your device.

Use microG as that other anon said, then it works fine AND you have assurance of exactly what it does and does not send through Google's, or anyone else's, servers.

a) don't offer a download on their website for the apk, its just the link to apple and android app store
