I don't even know what WhatsApp is, let alone if it's available for my OS. My phone probably has less than a few hours talk time on it, and I've never sent or received a text message (aside from spam or wrong numbers) in my life.

The Nokia does have 3G but it's always been disabled for better battery life.

I tried to get an iPhone 6s recently but got three in a row with defective displays and gave up for now.

Dad got me the BMW when I was 18 to go to college, but I dropped out after one semester and have been NEET since. I only drive the BMW to go places (mostly just grocery shopping) with one or both parents and it's pretty much the family car now. Also the Seiko was only $80 or so and replaced an old beat up one that I sold on eBay for about as much.

The most overlooked brand next to Huawei, to be honest.

Solid phones, as stock Android as you'll get out of the big phone manufacturers without going for a Nexus/Moto/OnePlus.

Build quality is excellent for the most part, but their earlier line-up with glass backs were a bit prone to shattering. Had a Z3 Compact and the back got a small crack after dropping it from pocket length. Done that to my current Z5 Compact a few times and it hasn't gotten a scratch yet.

Performance wise, they seem to be on par with the biggest flagships on the market. Personally haven't had any problems with the 2GB the Z5C has. The 810 can be a bit hot at times, but no thermal throttling has happened yet.

Design and feel of the phone is most definitely the biggest draw towards Sony for me. I absolutely HATE putting my Z5C in a case. The feel of the phone is so excellent, I just want to risk damaging it by using without a case.

Nice cameras, could be better, which is a bit annoying since Sony have beast sensors and know their shit in the imaging business. Most sites tend to give them a good rating, though.

Waterproofness is no joke, legit taken it with me in the shower and given it a soap wash. Only thing that I'm sceptical of is the open charging port. Not sure how that is a good thing for any "waterproof" rated phone. Applauded the use of flaps covering said ports on their earlier models.

All in all, been using Sony smartphones since my first Xperia Mini in 2011 and will probably continue to do so unless Microsoft gets their shit together and bring Android apps to WP, so I can pick up a Lumia 950, because that thing is a beast.
