My girlfriend's uncle uses an iPhone 4 running the latest iOS 7 and it still works fine. Battery lasts him all day, 3rd party apps still get updates and the OS is still responsive.

My friend uses an iPhone 4S, same story again except he still gets the latest OS updates which is pretty impressive for how old that phone is by now.

I myself use an iPhone 5 and it works absolutely fine, I'm more than happy with it as a daily driver.

This. My old Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 was supposed to get the official KitKat upgrade but in the end, Samsung just gave up on it and only rolled it out to a few carrier branded American models of the device.

They did roll it out to the GT-I9305 but it was still down to the carriers whether or not they wanted to roll it out to their customers, some of which never did.

About 20,000 people paid $5 for a crowdfunding to receive a $50 credit towards ordering their new phone the P9000, and nobody's coupon codes are working.

Originally the crowdfunding codes were to be valid from January 15-31, the presale never went live and they kept everyone in the dark until earlier this week when an email was sent out saying it would start Thursday 1/21 at 3PM GMT.

The pre-sale went live, sort of. They have a form on their homepage where you must validate the code that was purchased, then use a new generated code that is only valid for ONE online retailer to preorder the phone. And judging by the customer responses so far none of the retailers are accepting any codes, some list the phone as out of stock and don't allow pre-orders. Some don't use PayPal or even ship all over the world.

This company is literally defrauding tens of thousands of people because they promised a phone that's great and inexpensive. Their facebook and twitter is full of pissed off customers.
