After intense scrolling I was unable to find a home screen thread.
Home screen thread?
Change the clock widget though
>not just using ctrl+f
okay, you do you, anon.
I posted an early version of this in a previous thread. I made some adjustments according to what someone said, then added a menu thing since icons would look like shit on it.
here's how it looks in action http://look.adsmz.com/post/137762560201/love-lain-1
Clean, don't really like that wallpaper though. 8/10
Real nice, not sure how I feel about that square in the middle though. 8.5/10
Why have invisible icons if the home/back/multitasking buttons are still there? 8/10
Apply yourself 3/10
Has a nice aesthetic but is way too messy 4/10
MY EYES. Bright(5)/10
Clean but not a while lot going on 6/10
Kinda cool don't love the word icons though 7/10
Having the icons with the dots throws it off 6/10
Maybe I'll even get a rate out of it this time
Comments and suggestions appreciated
Amerifaggots, need help and this seems like a good thread to quickly ask.
I am a brit fag who wants to get a temp sim for my htc one m8 when im in cali/nevada next month.
What is the best option? Data would be useful for sat navvingggg
Kek don't you think 0 is a little harsh? I just don't think yours has any aesthetic worth mentioning and is much to bright.
Either of you have suggestions for an icon pack then? I haven't found anything that works well.
Oh and I think yours is a good concept but I don't think the background behind the terminal goes well, also what is the point of having something that tells you how much ram you have? 6/10 could be good though.
>Oh and I think yours is a good concept but I don't think the background behind the terminal goes well
Live wallpaper that changes shade as battery life goes down, scan lines move as well
>also what is the point of having something that tells you how much ram you have?
I use it to keep track of any memory leaks I run into
>mfw terminal == wannabe hacker
Explain to me the reasoning behind having that godawful white on white scheme.
Hmm, can you make the background a color that complements the green of the terminal though? I just don't think the wood floor works with the terminal green I guess. Oh so it's not total memory it's memory used? I guess that makes a bit more sense.
Check the /g/ wiki that's stickied, it has a good guide to get you started. What I would do is find a background that you like and build your homescreen around fitting the aesthetic of that background. Also, minimalism is much easier to make look nice than having a lot of stuff going on.
>Explain to me the reasoning behind having that godawful white on white scheme.
firstly anonymous user, it's so bright cause like any reasonable person, i keep my phone brightness at ~ 70% to save battery, but this won't show on your PC
secondly, white on white means they blend in enough to ignore them if they're not needed, but they're also apparent enough to tell them apart when needed especially given my familiart with my setup
The wood floor is just for the screenshot, it doesn't exist otherwise
it is memory remaining, I usually start out with around 2800 free, reboot once I hit around 1600
Coming from a nexus 5, I'm enjoying the lg launcher quite a bit.
Installed cloudyg3 so I've got the lg g4 launcher and apps on my g3.
Looking for a better 4chan icon
Could I get that wallpaper, anon?
9/10 (you inspired me)
I like it. 8/10
Oh goddammit I've been assuming that the wood background was part of it the whole time lol.
The point should be so that you don't need to ignore them because they look good and fit in with the rest of the homescreen. Also, I keep my brightness lower 75% almost all the time and never have issues with seeing my background, maybe if you had colors that contrasted better that wouldn't be an issue.
I like it, functional but clean.
10/10 for anime and wu-tang
7/10 nice and comfy
I like it a lot actually, never thought about using a search bar instead of icons... Maybe try finding a way to replace the notification bar, that shade of green doesn't mesh perfectly with the wall I'm 9\10
A little bit stock 6/10
Apply yourself chief 4/10
Work on ways to tidy it up, cool wallpaper though. 5/10
Having that wallpaper makes you a confirmed normie, but it's pretty bad even if you had a good wallpaper 3/10
Comfy cozy and nicely symmetrical 7/10
Pretty clean, even though I've never been a huge fan of the whole gaussian blurred wallpaper thing. 7/10
>>The point should be so that you don't need to ignore them because they look good and fit in with the rest of the homescreen.
you and i are part of different schools of thought
> Also, I keep my brightness lower 75% almost all the time and never have issues with seeing my background, maybe if you had colors that contrasted better that wouldn't be an issue.
i don't think you understood my point
>Having that wallpaper makes you a confirmed normie, but it's pretty bad even if you had a good wallpaper 3/10
>being this jelly
I want to add stuff but not sure. I wanna change the icon theme too.
This, but use a different icon for the folder. If you don't know how, hold the folder until edit pops up, then tap the icon.
Remove the page indicator.
Most of you all have to much stuff going on in either your wallpaper, or with your widgets and apps. Find a way to hide widgets, and use an appropriate icon pack that suits your wallpaper.
I fell for a meme and bought my first iPhone good so far cant wait to jail break
Anyone have an idea on an icon pack that actually matches my background?
>That clock tho
It's a work in progress;1 clock/10
Nice, but the clock doesn't match the icons too well. Is that neko atsume?
Good rice, but the icons aren't all matching, and the battery and weather info should be white instead of grey
Hide notification bar, change grey music player to white, and make the icons smaller
Hide notification bar, change folder icons, rice more. Check out the FAQ on the /wg/ homescreen thread
Hide notification bar, see FAQ as said above
Adding stuff would be good, try min for an icon pack, see how it goes
See FAQ as said above
Really nice, just hide the notification bar
Nice, but the animations feel a bit too sharp
Glyphsy or lines might work
Try replacing your folder icons with solid icons
...bricking your phone? Man, I was just saying that the FAQ is a good place to learn about launchers and basic design. You can't possibly brick a phone with that. If you like the default ui, keep it, it was just advice
I've tried other launchers, holding off until Marshmallow permission controls until I switch again, don't want to give 3rd party launchers permission to contacts, SMS, etc.
I still feel kinda meh, but it's my first time with zooper.
Probably gonna change it when I change my wallpaper which I don't know when that will be.
I don't care for anything in here.
here you go senpai
I'm working on a widget locker setup using kwgt to match it
This is really nice, reminds me of visiting Switzerland.
I like my homescreen widget-free
Swipe down to show clock, double tap to show drawer.
Dunno if you're still around but here's the full artwork.
What do you think, i need constructive criticism.
