Shit tier / I dont want to keep updating the picture edition
There's another monitor mounted on the wall above the row of screens. I'm forced to sell most of it (everything except the computer and a monitor) soon to take the gf to Moscow and pay student loans. I have a MemeBook Pro that I use for video editing, which is my job and college major.
I need to take a new picture
a relative of mine got a new TV for christmas and gave me the old one, so now I have another screen on my desk
We're moving in together back home after the trip and I'm going to propose. Her parents know, so they're paying a majority of the trip. I need cash though. We've been dating for 5 years and I've had that computer in its entirety for longer
it's a madcats with a seimitsu LS-32 and sanwa buttons. had a friend do some custom artwork.
i like everything from cave to touhou to gradius. some of my favorites are zanac x zanac, th08, harmful park, jigoku kisetsukan and futari.
Ooh right on, I love harmful park and what little touhou and cave games I've played. Just got a qanba q1 and have been trying to get better at shmups in general. Was planning to try th08 tonight in fact
Rearranged my layout, way more comfortable now, going be getting an even smaller case within this month, probably a jonsbo v4
still wip put up some movie posters I had up
Mine's an Ikea. when I got it it was a modular system, so you could plug together differently shaped bits to make a desk in the configuration you want it. they shuffled product lines since then, idk if you can still do that
Just focus on the dimensions that you're comfortable with, is it the right height for you to be comfortable, is it deep enough that you can have all your peripherals in front of you and not feel cramped and is it wide enough for your monitors and pc etc.
Everything else is jerking off, in my opinion.
you might find it a bit loose for shmups. i started with a sanwa JLF and it had too much throw for my liking. good for fighting games though. i need another stick as a dedicated fight stick.
ayoo its jerry.
pretty comfy m8
dank station man
what case m8?
Love the color of your desk m8
I got a stool so I dont sit like a bitch.
Desk question guy here.
Figured I should post since people have been nice enough to reply. Currently use a 6 foot plastic lunch table, hence the need for a real desk.
Inb4 shitty cell phone camera.
waiting until planck arrives before I take a new pic
kek it's so easy to break you it seems, look at you all defensive, debugger here, I'm glad I'm not this fragile and needy desu, imma let you recover the pieces of your ego now, xoxo :D
Looking for comfy picture and comfy bamboo plant. Planing on storing screen and clearing off a lot of my desk.
Nah I told him he has a cute keyboard. Hes all good now.
Gotta post my old b8 picture.
my garden is bamboo as fuck
but i think i need some kung fu panda shit inside
so i can be zen as fuck like u
>what case m8
Cooler Master Elite 130
It's a bit long for my liking
Dimensions are 207mm H x 400mm D x 240mm w
Looking to get the depth to about 280mm or less
You can pick up this case for 88 NZD or you can pick up its smaller little sister the elite 110 (pic related) which is about 290mm deep with similar other dimensions for about 75 NZD
They're good, small ITX Cases on the cheap side but there are way cooler ones out there that are smaller if you put in the money
Thanks, It's still very much a WIP but I'm inching along to a better desk every day.
I'd like to think I've come a long way since...this
gotta be my nigga.
Man id pay good money for an itx am3+ board.
did you even try?
nice blanket m8
looking comfy m8
Probably going to look like this till I start adding shit again.
Holy shit those CRT's
Cute.. That's how I want mine
Plz be kind senpai desu
I just made the most ghetto thing ever and I thought I should share
Looks pretty clean, right?
Jammed all my cables in a cardboard box, tied them up and electrical taped the lid
Now I take out one usb cable and going portable is ez
Nah it's only usb cables
The large box was so i could rest it against the top of my desk since I couldn't find an easy solution to attaching it lol
Also, why is everyone against webcam tape?
Do you know how easy it is to get malware on Windows? Do you realise even a tiny misclick inside Skype can broadcast anything you're doing to people?
I ordered a dual monitor arm, should get here today. Now I just need to get one of those korean 1440p monitors too.
T E X A S
Pretty. case is way too big though
Looks better like that, really
idk what im looking at. Well im not a dumb fuck on skype and if they want to watch me masturbate sure. There is no use on them going on your webcam besides social embarrassment lol.
Yah I like it better too. Don't use the second one besides for leaving shows running or music.
/r/ing the battlestation with the Toshiba Libretto.
Just bought 2 Libretto 70 CTs for really cheap, just need to fix them up.
think I remember you from these threads on /b/, you're the one that usually posts your legs in rainbow socks? and tells me to get a better keyboard
I post mine in purple and black ones~
Im okay, what about you?
Yes, that's a noctua fan. It's hooked up to a 12v adapter which used to be a charger for something. Best soldering station ventilation ever.
And no, my name isn't louis.
My 7-9 year old chair finally broke, using a shitty ikea markus chair right now.
Monitor arm just arrived :DD Shitty old flea market monitor on there currently, need to wait until I get paid to order a Korean monitor.
Now my cable management hole in my table is just there and looking ugly though, might try to find one of those USB hub things that fit in holes.
I will get a chair around that price range eventually, it's what I've set my mind on for a long time. But rather than a design chair it's gonna be a 24hour chair made for truckers/security monitoring people.
Hence I didn't "waste" money on something in between when my previous one broke.
I already regret using USPS to deliver my new keycaps
Yeah, new case! I'm going with the NCase M1. I've also got an ITX X99 board, and waiting for Broadwell-E. Gonna be a nice build. Not as pretty as the In-Win internally, but definitely faster.
Thats a pretty dope case man. I cant wait to get a little itx system built.
My last three PC's have all been ITX. Sometimes I get the urge to do mATX, but I still would be wasting space.
Before deciding on this build, I almost did X99 mATX in the Phanteks Evolv mATX case. The biggest reason would have been the rice-ability of LED kits. So I just went with the based NCase.
Always liked this one, especially the John Luke watching over you while you're sleeping. Saved to inspiration folder.
Maybe shoop the jizzstains away? I mean the pad pretty much appears as a solid color.
Neat anyway, but why the raised blacks?
Inspired me to get that lamp (only smaller version) and the Alex cabinet. Looking neat as always.
Myself I'm gonna order a keyboard drawer, see if it fits with my new table to get the top surface really neat. Also maybe smaller, possibly /mkg/ and new LED strip since I left the old one on the old glass table and I like muh indirect LEDs. If there are any power sockets left after that, I might even put some of those back of the TV LED strips on my screens.
I had the 901. It's ITX. The 904 is regular ATX, and there is a 909, with E-ATX and additional cooling support.
>shoop the jizzstains away
That's too much effort for a bst photo
>why the raised blacks
I can't remember which part exactly but one part was so dark there was basically no detail
My next photo though I'm doing away with HDR and am just going to use my strobe lights instead
i thought of going ITX just because i'll only use one GPU, but might go when kaby lake launches to get a cheap Z170 board as i doubt i'd be able to sell my current mobo and case.
and itx cases are just cute as shit.
This is mine. Nothing special but its comfy.
I have a great view too.
I built that platform. Would rather have it up, than down.
Let me know if you'd like assistance.
It actually isn't hot either. When people use case-venting GPU's or AIO's it might. But my card exhausted air out the rear, as did the PSU. I had a 120mm intake pushing air onto drives and the case, while half of it went straight into the GPU. And the rear 92mm exhaust worked well also. Temps were as follows:
>CPU idle/load: ~28°C-40°C
>GPU idle/load: ~32°C-55°C
>Drives never exceeded 25°C
>Board operated around 23-28°C
Just grab a nice see through mat and your floor will be good and not block the aesthetics of dat HARDwooD
From Colorado but I'm living in Canada. It looks even better in the morning.
I've never liked the see through thing.
Rubber casters are okay, and I'm not 12,000 pounds of N33T, so, they should do well. They did in my previous station.
Final days of the old setup, case for the new one already in place. Will take pic with non shit camera when I'm done after the weekend.
i was using rgb leds in that pic but i got tired of how cold the light was and put christmas lights there
that ceiling looks really nice, idk how I feel about your ceiling fan lights though.
need a link to desk mat
that keyboard is nearing silly territory
i think the led brightspot is too high above your monitor, would get annoying
clean up needed
i want to live near a port
I don't have a wallmount personally, but you need a studfinder. If you mount it just to sheetrock you'll tear a whole in your wall.
installing a tv/monitor to the actual mount is easy as fuck, you just screw it in.
9/10 damn near perfect.
Its pretty cool. You get to see all sorts of neat shit.
not that bad to e honest. I have a nice chair too. I just am starting to stand more ofte then I sit because of my back. But no im fine.
k400 yes 22xi only if its with others.
>taping over the camera even though it along with a microphone are built into the laptop
I agree he's paranoid, nothing outside of having a computer with no webcam or microphone will be safe. Taping over a built-in webcam/microphone that's always connected to wifi won't do shit.
Long time no see.
if I have something nailed to the wall right above it can I assume its fine to drill below the nail?
english isn't my first language and searching for a stud finder in my language is being hard
>if I have something nailed to the wall right above it can I assume its fine to drill below the nail?
no. ask around a hardware store for an edge finder, what country are you from?
I really need a new mouse for my meme setup.
Also a better camera.
>Built table myself
>It's a 12 core
I don't have anything different really. I still need to fix the height, and I want to get a hook or three for my headphones. I would get a better angle, but my room is tiny and this is all I could really manage. I will try again some time.
Waiting to get any decent furniture until I buy a house. I have a bunch of dark walnut butcher block that came from a local department store's counter tops. Going to make a really nice desk and night stands out of it.
Question, folks. I'm moving in a month or so. What's a damn good right-hand corner L-desk out there for $500 or so? I mean a legit desk that'll stand up to a fucking house collapsing on it.
I can build one myself, but I don't actually want to if I don't have to.
80% with a sw upper, this ain't /k/
I got sick and tired of organizing my photos for each general, so please pick the one that applies to this one. Thanks.
