ESXi, period.
I moved from Proxmox to Xen, just seems like a better made product.
I'm tempted to move to something Docker based for performance reasons, but a lot of things piss me off about it.
What benefits does KVM have over Xen, and vice-versa?

Depends on the use case i guess, for me and my uses, KVM has better hardware support (potentially due to being kernel space but im sure its more complicated than that )

Does ESXi also run on top of Linux? I really like that Proxmox is Debian underneath.
I've run proxmox for nearly two years now. Someone gib good reason to transition?
