It has no extensions so far. That's my main problem.

I won't use it, but I like it - Nutella's Microsoft has definitely acknowledged the terrible crimes against humanity that Microsoft has commited with IE 6 - 10. Now they've finally deprecated those old, terrible browsers and they are actually making rapid progress catching up with Webkit and Blink in terms of standards compatbility.
And they also release new versions quite fast.

I don't know who on Microsoft's team is responsible for this change, but...

I havent installed it. If it actually does let them go through all your files then I never will. Its just for normies and people that have nothing to loose anyways. so I read the eula theres nothing in it forboding. I read the privacy statement and it just says it uses cookies to collect and share data. It does however say if you use onedrive they will look at that information and share it. Which is pretty fucked but I already knew that about cloud storage and you would have to be a moron to not know they will look at these files. I think its being blown out of proportion.
