I have a laptop like that.

Just do what I did, install tiny core plus and your choice of internet browser.

I'm running an athlon 2000+ with 1gb ddr ram and the igpu. Works flawlessly.

But if you do get xpbe running on your laptop I'd be interested in seeing the results.

why?Office 2010 compatibility wuth newer versions is shit.Even other office softwares like Libreoffice and Kingsoft has better support.Newer offices won't work if you use can't get 7 to work.
