ENOUGH WITH THESE THREADS I NEED TO SLEEP BUT I"VE BEEN RICING ALL NIGHT
Just because it doesn't have 10000 custom edits doesn't mean it can't look good. I bet you are one le special snowflake who edits his own desktop and doesn't afraid of anything, right?
>OP is a russian 12 year old
Somehow I doubt it
I remember seeing a screenshot of Fluxbox once, with a single toolbar in the bottom middle with a few buttons$ the width was like 60% or something like that. And there I have it.
If you mean by control panel what I mean by system tray, I went in my settings, then "workspace appearance", then "desktop theme" and "get new theme".
You should have a front-end themes installer then. I installed Simple Flow.
why be a bitch and then not post your own?
Some months ago desktop threads on /g/ were started with some links to customization(ricing) tutorials, themes etc. Post some links where i can get my knowledge, I want my desktop to look as 1337 as possible too.
Please no posting links to archlinux wiki, this joke is just too funny, especially when somebody posts it for thousandth time.
I don't want manuals, there was links to tutorials. I don't have much time to spare on desktop. Some people have business to do, you know. Still I want my laptop to look good unusual.
any rice tips for Fedora 23?
Have some stock Antergos, faggot
The new mint seems pretty cool. I really like their updates. Plus, their default wallpapers are always really pretty.
desu I like OSX's visual style
I'm still a linuxfag through and through tho
Basic theme because I have DScaler open and it disables Aero until exit.
Yeah, but what if you use it without a Google account? They can't target ads at you if you have an adblock extension, so all they can do is log your IP and the sites you visit, which is harmless
Good work, looks like vosh
My punf script can now use multiple hosts (atm sr.ht and my own website (WIP)).
He occasionally posts with a new trip (twice a year probably), but he doesn't rice anymore.
great computer users in this thread
This thread is sort of lacking anime.
It would be pointless to show my tiling textured wallpaper, so here's Firefox.
still setting things up, here's what i got so far.
But there is tutorials on this topic, I clearly remember that they were posted in op several months ago in every desktop thread. Why waste time on wiki/manuals if there is a nice and easy tutorial? I don't want to be a special snowflake, I just want a nice desktop, nice and clean like on this picture, for eample.
Nice, you should share it
Also, do you know his snapchat?
Haha, you have been tricked—I am actually a big fan of anime! Great victory (borat quote) lmao
>literally everyone is here while I'm in the other thread wondering why it's so slow.

Those are the people that go into video card threads and spam "gaming is for children"
use a smaller titlebar font, add a "close window" button (https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Guide_to_X11/Window_Managers/twm#Closing_program_windows_in_twm), and remove the titlebar from xclock. Also improve your font rendering, install ublock and disconnect.me, and rice 4chan a little, and you're golden! Oh and use hsetroot to set the background color. Basically change everything.
I want to change the WM but twm is the only one that i can install
Its the firefox logo.
Not sure your blacks were crushed enough
This wallpaper sits really well on my thinkpad desu senpai baka
How do you like it? I was expecting to install something else after a couple days, but it's remarkably good for a window manager from three decades ago. And it explains a lot of *box design decisions lol.
Do you actually use all of the icons in your first screen?
Why not hide them, or at least delete some?
Also, I hate the little arrow that indicates it's a shortcut, feels dirty to me, I always changed the icons to the original launcher.

Commencing archfag shitpost
when I leave for Japan in April I'll be sure to take lots of pics for the deskfriends
Windows 8.1 Pro debotnetted as much as possible. Clean VS + Aero Glass. Not sure what icons to put on the Desktop, need to center the taskbar icons and maybe replace them with an icon pack. Not really a rice, just a decent A E S T H E T I C.
It's a tossup between Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or Hajime no Ippo. I haven't seen some of the most popular shows like Clannad or Steins;Gate so it's up in the air as far as that goes. Eva a shit though..
nope, just like the environment there and save a lot of people's vacation photos.
Why are you so butthurt? Are you upset that somebody else can actually have a real life because he's not an ugly neckbeard with too much time to spare on reading information which will be useless after he's configured the workspace to his liking? Like knowing how to install themes from the internet makes you something but a pitiful fat disgrace to the society, and there is no way you will share this information.
The good old "I have a life and I'm better than all of you" argument.
Lol dude that's in Ubuntu's system settings. It doesn't take /g/ to figure that out, it just takes fucking with it. But it's under "Appearance Settings" or some shit. There aren't very many default settings and it isn't difficult to find
