What do you /g/uys know about good/longer-ranged bluetooth transmitters? I just moved into a new place, and the little dongle in pic related can't transmit a steady signal to any other room. It doesn't need to go incredibly far, literally just a room or two over. Any ideas?

What exactly are you using that requires so much Bluetooth range that can't be done over a network wired or otherwise?

I received a bluetooth speaker as a housewarming gift, and it sounds pretty decent, so I thought I could just move it from room to room in the apartment and listen to music wherever. The problem is how many and how thick the walls are in between the rooms, and that's why I need something with a little more juice.

bluetooth was never really about juice, good luck mang.
Bluetooth is meant as a means of short range easy communication. You would probably be better off carrying the speaker from room to room desu

It's your lucky day, OP.
I just so happened to have bought this the other day, plugged it in, works beautifully on my Bose OE headset. No distortion (from what I hear), and I am jamming out to some David Bowie.

Somewhat relevant question, I have one of these dongles and for the life of me can't get below 30ms latency on my ds4 controller. But it is perfect when connecting to my laptop with built-in Bluetooth.
I've had the controller on top of the dongle and no change in latency. Any troubleshooting steps? I don't use Bluetooth very much...
I think it might just be the dongle is shit (an asus dongle)
