is still protonmail the gmail killer and a good email to use for professional reasons?
Who still send more than 5mb files with an e-mail ?
you can't use it with e-mail clients, so no. at least tutanota has a plug-in for Outlook, so that's a start for them at least.
but until these providers have support on thunderbird, claws, etc. they're all meme trash.
how do i into proff email?
sounds expensive.. is it?
Just get your own domain for 9 to 12 dollaroos per year.
Preferably one with free privacy protect, if the top level domain's whois reveals information.
And then connect it for free with zoho.com or yandex
I'll add that if you don't have a jew blacklisted ISP and a somewhat decent network connection you can host your own mail server at home.
A mail server doesn't require a lot of resources and can be hosted on pretty much every low cost shitty VPS.
Shut the fuck up. Why would making my own cost money? I'm asking questions about email hosting in case I might try it myself. I don't know which is why I'm ASKING. Now fuck off asshat, I don't want to talk to people like you.
it says on the blogs that protonmail recovered the ddos attack pretty fast.
who is ddosig them? the jews? or google?
>not using FastMail
Tutanota is based out of Germany (bad privacy laws) and ProtonMail is having all of their traffic siphoned by Israelis ever since that last DDOS.
FastMail is fairly priced, run by very competent people and has been around forever. Use PGP for privacy.
The privacy claims made by services like Tutanota and ProtonMail are spurious at best, especially when most of your contacts won't be using those services, therefore their message encryption is pointless. Email isn't particularly secure at all, and PGP is still your best option for privacy until a better email protocol is introduced to replace the current system.
i just want a good and reliable browser based email that is not gmail but looks legit and serious.
wouldn't want a hotmail or aol or something.
i will check fastmail although it sounds bad marketing wise. @fastmail.com ?
sounds like spam.
ayy me too, 1 GB
literally have not received a single e-mail on my ProtonMail. I've had it since right after their Kickstarter.
Great ID too, but I don't want to waste it on some spam site.
