There's also that chat/video chat program that's supposed to replace skype. It looked pretty good from an aesthetic point of view, and was customizable, but anti-NSA league constantly pissed in the threads to a hilarious effect.

some of the names it iterated through were /g/OS, Clover OS, Ricebowl and then finally something japanese i don't remember. needless to say, people couldn't settle on a logo, let alone base distro.

That's actually a pretty good name.
Maybe something would come out of it if it was spammed as a reminder that it exists in Linux threads. Would be a more productive general thread than daily programming trapfag circlejerking threads.
