/g/, do you know of any good budget monitors for under $300?
>>

under $300 is hardly budget. Personally I'd buy a qnix/simian 27" 2560x1440 screen at this price point, or maybe go for a used 30" 2560x1600 like the dell 3007wfp-hc or the hp lp3065

Asus VS239. IPS panel, great price/performance. I bought 2 for about 300.

Now for a real budget monitor, which one would you get between

http://www.amazon.it/gp/aw/d/B0097I6R5I/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1453107690&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=asus+ve228hr&dpPl=1&dpID=41i2ZRoRwNL&ref=plSrch

and

Are both more or less the same? I was thinking the benq cause the response time is a bit smaller (main use would be gaming). What do you guys think?

I'am thinking about getting a Dell P2416D 1440p as secondary screen. Is there a reason I should get a U2414H 1080p instead?
>>
>>52492248
only if you'd have trouble running that resolution
>>
>budget monitor
>under 300$
Wot? I thought budget monitors meant sub-150$ range
>>
>>52492369
I will be running it a secondary screen so no games and that kind of stuff, so I guess it won't be a problem.
>>
>>52486928
I've got 2 VX239H and they're bretty gud
>>
get a crt faggot
>>
any 1920x1200 Hewlett Packard Workstation monitors. 100$-150$ max, great quality, durable, and on a 5yo hardware you don't need no warranty.
>>
>>52484623
The IBM T221 is the best monitor in that price range for work and text.

It costs about 200, is 4k, has historical importance, is 16:10, uses two subpixels per color, and has about the best color accuracy you can find without spending thousands. It is only 48hz stock, but can be overclocked to 55 natively, and with a hardware mod to over 60 without dropping frames.

Really it only costs about 130,but you have to get it shipped in from japan. Only get the DGP or DG5 version
