Up until PS5 got that magic Stalin's enemy eraser, GIMP really was on par for casual editing. It's the interface that drags it down, being 50 separate windows instead of 1 like a sane program. There was supposed to be a variant that was that way but I could never get it to work. Now I just use Paint.NET but I do more stupid meme stuff than actual art anymore.

I can do anything that photoshit can do just fine with GIMP. I went through an entire course of photoshop back in the day and still use GIMP anyway.
