>Android users are cheap as fuck and rarely pay for apps in comparison to Apple users despite there being double the active Android users
Is there even a point in developing for Android?
>iToddlers and iSheep are easily manipulated into forking over their cash by flashy advertising
You consider this a bragging point?
>they actually pay for apps
The dumb fucks.
They probably pay for music and movies too!
You would have a valid argument if you compared iPhones to other flagship phones. Lumping in $20 burner phones with all other androids and pretending they ever intended to open the Play Store at all just makes you an iDiot.
>Is there even a point in developing for Android?
Is there a reason not to? If you have a successful app on ios why not port it to Android and squeeze out every little bit of dosh you can get?
I would like to know how many people actually use the apps they purchase in the App Store.
AFAIK the only apps people use around me that have iPhones are social networking apps and other free apps.
As a programmer I see developing for Android as freedom, or at least greater freedom.
Apple are far more restrictive, not only of what can enter their store but also what is allowed to be distributed outside their store.
And that's bullshit.
Absolutely this. you can spend a really long time developing an app for iOS only to have the App Store reject it because they think it's too similar to another app already there. And there's really not shit you can do about it
Good luck getting any eyeballs in google app store unless you pay jewgle or designate some street shitters to bot it up to the top.
Also, don't bother with a tablet version since Android Tablet is pretty much kill at this point
I want to put apps on my iPhone that aren't from the app store
>you can't unless you jailbreak and void warranty and every update breaks your phone
I want to put apps on my android phone that aren't from the app store
>tick a box
