Once upon a time, a bunch of total fucking losers made hating the newest "new" linux thing a dumb meme without having even a shred of something else to try as they shat their pants seeing all their precious distros slowly move over to it.

old linux things that didn't become a meme but were "bad" when they were new
>pulseaudio
>mir, wayland, vs x windows
>grub2
>grub
>every ubuntu release
>every debian release
>every fedora release
>every release of every distro ever
>every major DE change (gnome 2 to 3)
>everything

but only systemd hate became a meme. meanwhile you see newcomers to linux insist they must not ruin their precious distro they're about to try if it has system d and must ask because not only do they not know what it is, THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A FUCKING INIT SYSTEM IS OR DOES.

Thanks for your retarded armchair ass shitflinging arguments for 2 years or so turbobeards. I swear linux attracts contrarian hipster hippie fuckwads like nothing else and this is all just a manifestation of them trying to keep linux as their secret club
>>
systemd is focring the linux community to finally come to terms with the fact that simple and bloated is better than complicated and efficient. Then at that point there is nothing about linux that makes it better than Windows.
>>
>"Those who do not understand Unix are condemned to reinvent it, poorly." - Henry Spencer

Poettercuck wouldn't listen. Instead, has the nerve to come up with claims like "the sudo concept is broken" etc. Oh well.

I played it when it when there wasn't an English version. All the people who bandwagoned on when the English version got released are secondaries.

Start buying the food sold as a pack of 3 as soon as you can. This will attract the fat cat, don't shoo him away by refilling the bowl while he's around. When he leaves on his own, he pays handsomely for what he ate. Usually around 50 fish.

The big square cushion and cubes can accommodate multiple cats in one (small) spot. The marked large items naturally can accommodate multiple cats. More cats = more fish.

These items will attract the so called "rare" cats. Supposedly they're also picky about what kind of food you leave out, but I don't know who likes what in particular. I play mine in Japanese mode, so I don't know the proper English names of items.

baseball
temari ball
house
cafe
train
red japanese cushion
pink japanese cushion
silver japanese cushion
fancy round cushion
gold hammock
egyptian pyramid
the biggest cat-tower
mouse toy on string
Blue "S" track
kotatsu table
Stove
log
nabe pot
red bowl
vase
cowboy hat

Those are all still absolute garbage. You might have a point with Wayland in a few years, and you probably do with Pulseaudio, but everything else you said is shit-tier memeware.
>>
Personally I'm still hoping OpenRC gains some traction.
>>
>>52451214
I'm new, whats so bad about gnome?
>>
>>52451320
It's extremely bloated and wastes screen real estate like no tomorrow. The UI itself was designed for touch screens, despite GNOME's touch screen support being just a hair above unusable.
Also, it's not really that customizable because everything's so locked down.
>>
>>52444958
Pulseaudio is garbage, Wayland was greeted with much rejoicing, Gnome 3 became a meme and so did Ubuntu 11 or whatever first had Unity.

I don't rabidly hate systemd the way so many others do, but I do find it unnecessary and I still prefer SysV/BSD init.
