>you are in a position to design new DRM
>what do you do?

Free access to the software, but pay for a licence to use it?

MGS V steam installer access for software?

No DRM at all, allowing anyone to pirate it all?

Partial disc install, with the rest being a download, like Faggout 4?

Personally, I like DRM free. If I pirate your game or software and I like it, I'll happily buy it.
AC 2 and Diablo II left me hating what some companies can do

Hardmode: not everyone has 1st world internet access, or access at all. Include them too

Use GPL and CC. Problem solved.
>>
>>52438765
Could you explain that to a non /g/ inhabitant please?
>>

Arena-esque anti piracy
>ask for the value of a spell, but only have it in your manual
>>
Intentionally make sublte bugs in the software only for unactivated/cracked versions to fuck with the user
>>
The only effective DRM is making your game online only.

>not everyone has 1st world internet access

Like Americans, kek
>>

And even that isn't enough, look at private WoW servers for example

This

Google is your friend

DRM is most likely going into Windows 10 HyperVisor.

Not even kernel can touch that shit when it's there. Ripping movies from DRM will become almost impossible when this happens.
>>
>>52440090
It will always be doable. Problem is they put the increased price into improved DRM onto the consumer. How much more are you willing to pay for the same software because some dingus pirated it?
>>
>>52438724
Code is streamed to the end user at run time over the internet.
>>
>have to request an access code over phone/text at every launch

You don't understand how Win10 HypverV works. The Windows kernel is a VM inside HyperV. And you can't even attach any debuggers to HyperV, without it being signed by Microsoft.

DRM is disabled in Windows Debug mode. It's literally impossible dude, unless a group is wiling to convince and pay for certifications to get a HyperV debugger. Not Symantec, not DigiCert, only Microsoft themselves issues certs to debug their HyperV Ring 0 VTL 1 system.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
