What does /g/ think of Elementary OS?
>>
It sucks

Now fuck off
>>
The Design is nice, but full of bugs and fucking slow.
>>
>>52437921
Thanks :)
>>
GNOME rip off.
>>
Do people just hate it because it's easy? I prefer arch but elementary is good for beginners. It's practically Ubuntu with a less shit de
>>
>>52439865
>Ubuntu with a less shit DE
There's xubuntu for that and it's more stable than this POS.
>>
made by jews
>>
>>52439878
This. Or any other of the Ubuntu spin offs if you prefer another DE.
>>
Nice design but so fucking much bugs like FTP
>>
Its good but it should have been a DE with its own DE apps
>>
>>52439878
I would like KDE more if it wasnt for the name of all the default apps.

Makes me feel like im reading some mortal kombat instruction booklet.
>>
"Let's make an OS X skin for Loonix" taken too far.

Bait : The OS
>>
I used it for like a week, I'm not going back to it. It tries too hard
>>
I like it
>>
I used it for around a month, havent found many bugs, though i love that elementary os does not look like shit oob, like almost any other linux distro... Ubutnu with unity and that color scheme, mint with cinnamon and that grey ass dull theme. I dont understand how come designers are so horrific.
>>
After using OS X, there's no way I'm going back to any variant of desktop Linux.
>>
>>52440944
Open source developers aren't designers, simple as that.

That's why all their software looks like shit
>>
>>52441167
No, elementary OS devs are merely designers, that's why it's shit.
>>
It's a little ugly.
>>
>>52441588
I never thought about it like that but yeah pretty much this
>>
>>52437914
I like the aesthetic. It's obviously an OS X rip off, but it works.
Everything else is shit and honestly at most it should have been a DE for Ubuntu.
I don't understand why so many freetards feel the need to spin off their own distros, for no good reason.
It's like they enjoy duplication of effort and spreading resources so thin that nothing ever gets finished
