/G/uys, what do you hoard? Anime, Adobe products, porn, ETC....?
Any strict guidelines you follow when organizing? Or do you just organize everything logically?
Example - Local Disk (C:) Programs\Adobe\Adobe CS\Adobe CS5
Example - Local Disk (C:) Programs\Autodesk\3DS Max\3DS Max 2012
Example - Local Disk (C:) Music\Lossless\David Bowie\David Bowie - Low
Example - Local Disk (C:) Music\Lossless\A-Ha\A-Ha - Ending On A High Note
Why do you hoard? Scared that all the SJW stuff will cause a mass surveillance state on the internet and all that private tracker content will be wiped from the net? (I am BTW)
Do you like having lots of 1s and 0s ?

Stored on NAS accessible though NFS. Also served up through Emby. All the files that get downloaded automatically get put into the dump folder. Currently I manually move/rename files from the dump folder. I'm thinking of adding the crc32 to all the filenames so I could have something periodically check before overwriting my backup. But the naming scheme will probably get changed up here soon to make it more uniform.
Oh and I refuse to ever get Seagate barracudas again. Had 2 3tb ones fail on me. One failed within first week of use but I had owned it for a few months so couldn't return. Now using Hitachi's
I hoard everything, i hope you guys are with me on this, everyone says, why do you need so much anime, movies and tv shows. I just like to have it cause i know ill watch it one day.
i collect movies and TV series. ~2500 movies (~25T) and 63 individual TV series (~11T) so far.
everything is stored on my homeserver, in a btrfs on top of dm-crypt/LUKS on top of mdadm RAID 6 setup.
1 internal 4 tb drive
1 internal 1 tb drive
1 external 4 tb drive( using a dock)
what I hoard: chaturbate recordings
pixiv rips (up to 140gb)
misc 4chan images from several boards
looking into ripping twitch streams and throwing them onto blu rays
Calling massive bullshit. I consider myself more of a collector if anything. Having only just about 500 GB to work with means there is a lot of traffic. I just like the sight of having certain games, certain anime but at the level where you would have a library just because it pleases you to have a library, not because you read all the books from it. Most of the shit, as much as it sparks my interest, i never play and never watch, and such the cycle goes one. I just like having the convenience of easily accessing something that i was once interested in once i feel ready to commit. And if too much time flies, usually a month or two i just delete it to leave room for more crap.
