You're might be missing out. For example M-Team is pretty good for JAV and you need only a bit of Chinese to understand it all. Same with other Chinese trackers. Some good Romanian trackers as well and there are a truckload of Russian trackers that have pretty good HD content when other places might not have seeds. They can never replace the big 4 but are excellent alternatives when you just don't want to mess with ratio or reseed requests.

I suggest downgrade HDB to IPT level, because o pay2leech. It's shady as fuck.

Buffer is easy to get on HDB. Just give it time, and maybe snatch a new internal release or a porn torrent, or keep an eye out for TV shows and download new episodes to seed as they come up if you're desperate for buffer.

This happened last time there was a freeleech (I was there) - total disaster for the economy. Big torrents gained some seeds for a while, but those fizzled out fairly quickly since people only downloaded them for buffer. Then the small ebook torrents fizzled out too since people could redownload everything hundreds of times and it would hardly dent the buffer they got from audiobooks and comic packs, so what's the point of seeding anything.

Took years to fix itself to a fairly healthy state where every 100MB of buffer is precious. Requests would get filled quickly and people would mass upload new ebooks just to gain a little bit of extra buffer, greatly increasing the available content. Excellent retention on everything. Looks like those days are gone now. The only logic I see in this is if they're planning to permanently close the site soon.
