imagine being anime
>when you forget to add your desktop to your reply on a desktop thread
i still dont know if i became an anime girl yet
i can hear people drilling things, this is good
I watched ykk recently and it was pretty underwhelming, but the premise and world seem nice. Is the manga any good?
Haven't read the manga, but I've heard good things.
maybe they saw the discussion from last thread and realized you knew about the conspiracy and decided there was no point keeping it up any longer
>when you're trying to sleep but people outside are drilling things
>would that even hurt
maybe if you stab hard enough
> he isn't making an universal iOS app using UIStackView
Its like getting a sliver, except that sliver is made of glass and that glass is practically invisible if it gets under your skin. It'd hurt like shit and probably get infected
fuck you it's january
ushi is shit
well they all left now anyway
maybe one day ill be able to upload things in less than 5 hours
It saddens me that i have less packages installed on my daily machine than on my server :(
what're you? my dad?
i love the material design stuff in the dev channel updates
thinking of switching distros or reinstalling soon
they call it material design, thats what im going to call it
guys does my i3bar look better this way
Tone down the black color. Too much contrast, make it something like #444 or #333
I finally have real internet so now I can look at desktops with abandon
it doesnt really look different that way does it
Mio's birthday in 20 minutes and I'm off to sleep guys.
Got a day off after tomorrow so I guess I'll have a few beers in Mio's honor tomorrow.
It was apparently based off 'classypedia', I must've edited it
Tiling isn't, but pytile is
no, you need tiling at low resolution because you have so little of it to work with
when you have a high resolution monitor (or 2, I don't see how people use only one monitor) it's pointless
How am I going to tile in openbox now?
it's not pointless simply for the fact that with a tiling WM you rarely (if ever) have to lift your hands from the keyboard to touch the mouse. once the keystrokes have been ingrained you literally have exactly the component of your UI you are trying to access on hand as quickly as you can even think about it
Ayy, show me how to rice my desktop like this. There is a good guide on how to do it in Archlinux but I want my Debian Jessie to look like this, I even picked a theme on dotshare.it.
What are some good terminal fonts?
it's not the same, you can't install x86-video-vesa, mesa e.t.c. There aren't such packages in debian repositories, well they are there but with a different name. Seems like nobody ever wrote such a precise and complete guide like Archlinux has. Arch users literally can copy every command from wiki and don't have to know shit about linux.
I actually use my machine for work and can't be bothered by learning all that linux stuff that's not straight related to my work, it's just a waste of time. In the same time I want to have a 'meme' environment everyone on 4chan has. So if anybody knows a guide to make 'minimal' install of debian It would be nice.
Mostly new install. Yes I am an animu grill.
then install the dependencies that are compatible with both of your programs
i mean granted aptitude is really bad, but youre going to need to put at least a little bit of work into it
contrary to popular belief these desktops werent
>copy paste commands for 5 mins
Debian is much easier to use
I just installed Arch linux on vm using this image. Where's the guide on debian AT LEAST as precise as this image, I am not even saying wiki, where you literally copy everything and paste in the console line by a line.
I wish it would snow here already
you need to run tint2 with japanese locale if you want the day to show up in moonrunes
you should also do something different with the ncmpcpp seekbar, it looks bad
I think someone remarked upon how scrot sounded like scrotum, so I changed it to that for a while. Changed it back since.
You don't need a guide for debian because it's a million times easier and even the minimal install has a GUI installer that walks you through it.
Buddy, I run debian on my NAS and arch as a main OS.
I really like your desktop and would like it if you gave me your settings and preferably a clone of your filesystem so i can have a clone of it.
Your love bee.
What theme is this? What theme is this?
I need this theme!
>dumb normalfag post
kinda wanna see how deep this can go
Does everyone who takes it get a cute Inami or did I pick the right answers
Just because you don't like shounen doesn't mean it's junk. I didn't say anything about rating shows. My taste is perfect. I've said this before, the only good taste in anime is anime itself.
One of my first desktops I posted here had a bright red wallpaper but someone said it was frowned upon because it indicated heightened privilege or something
sorry for the late reply
yeah, this is one of my favourites: http://www.theonion.com/article/pitchfork-gives-music-68-2278
Wondering if it is possible to make it so I can stack specific icons together and right click what I want to open.
Two questions for you.
1. With that huge list going, how many hours/day do you allocate to watching anime?
2. What do you think of this semen demon (pic related)?
>yfw that's actually an official manga
Sou desu ka. Then, what's the largest number of episodes of anime you've watched in a single day? My record's 19.
>I like her.
We are in agreement! I want to lick her flat chest all over & suck on her nipples until she cries out in ecstasy.
Recorded a bunch of stuff, bonus points if you can guess the songs
Yep, although Cyprus was played like Madam George because it sounds better like that if there are no vocals
The rest was mostly improvized pentatonic stuff with a little of the residents
Yep, although I've listened to it too much, and it's becoming attached/reminding me of things in my life
There's always the live album, of course
fibre is working
>from 1mbps down 0.2 to 40 down 25 up
>to us from nz, on wifi
feels good man
>tfw still 2 hours to go here
your desktop is the very best. congrats
Still not sure if I should have drop shadows
you came back!
Anyone know of a nice, light GTK theme? I'm currently using something called "White", but I dunno if it goes very well with i3. Or maybe I should change i3 to conform to it?
wow has it already been that long
Yeah. Not in the mood to do anything though. Having a job takes the heart and soul out of you.
It will never be legal to do lewd or disrespectful things to Keions.
/tg/ rice but i can't find a wallpaper i like
improve on your left hand if you chord with your left since i can hear tonnes of flaws
also i can hear the plasticy picking of your pick and its disgusting, either invest in better recording equipment or learn to play el naturale
Well I decided to try soldering at 3AM and made a nasty mess that I get to unfuck tomorrow strongly suggest not doing that uuuuuugh good night
>i want to eat with a fork
>but i dont want learn how to hold a fork, fuck that redundant faggy shit!!!
>now teach me how to eat like a fork with a spoon, even though I just spent 5 lines insulting you
You can't make debian babys up, omg
Works fine on my machine
I am too old to rice anymore. Stock Ubuntu with my apps installed is all I need. Gives me a solid system with all the tools I need.
I'm 31. I have a wife and a 2 year old kid. Ricing used to be fun ten years ago when I ran Gentoo. Now I just need a system that works. Sad but that is my life now :(
>Can't you just change your PS1
obviously bash can do that, but you can do more stuff with zsh
for example, I don't think bash lets you have stuff on the right side of the terminal
I also don't think it can do stuff like this
zsh can autocorrect simple spelling mistakes, it's pretty handy
and the autocompletion is way better, not only does it work for commands and filenames, but also most program's arguments can be autocompleted as well
fair enough to be honest
I switched to zsh a few months into using bash out of pure curiosity and it's pretty much the first thing I install on a fresh system now. I couple it with oh-my-zsh for the preinstalled aliases as well. Prompt has git integration, bunch of themes setup for tweaking, and the auto correction is fantastic.
I'm already on Arch.Yeah, during the install I thought "hey, this thing is cool" but I never got curious enough to investigate it further.
Just installed zsh and oh my zsh as well.
Where are the "ricer prompts" you described earlier?
If you didn't have your name in the terminal, I would guess you were my cousin Joe
