I once went to a fancy meat brazilian place and they wonderful meat but the table next to me requested rare/blue rare meat and it went to shit. Just the smell and texture ruined it for me.
The smell reminded me of when I skin deers which isn't nice. Once they started to cook the stuff back to med-rare/med it was good again.

Medium is acceptable for burgers and such, but any steak needs to be medium rare.

Yes, I've got served at a restaurant and sent it back to be cooked more. They eventually started to remember me and used to get it right after that. If you recook it (even for little) it looses it's taste and as the texture of carton. STill better than raw.

Myoglobin is found in muscles which are commonly used for oxygen transfer to muscles. The myoglobin readily changes color when it reaches new oxidation states whilst bound to oxygen (occurs in heating), which "oxidizes" the meat and make it appear brown. Because it is used to transfer oxygen, this is why there's white and red muscle for fish and chicken in different areas. Red muscle facilitates aerobic performance whereas white muscle facilitates anaerobic performance, and it's directly related to myoglobin. It's really bad to leave blood on meat as it will coagulate due to fibrin inside and alter the taste of the steak a lot.
I like my steaks medium, but texture isn't very important to me.
The nano is good but poor overclocker, an excellent contender to the 980 considering the price, but it's more cost effective to go with a 390x or even 390, considering clock scaling.

Alright, listen up. Your cooking advice is shit. Cows live their lives to become extremely high-quality pieces of meat, with the best flavor coming out rare or medium rare. By having steak (not all beef, just steak) cooked until it's a gray blob, you are wasting that cow's life, and the the restaurant's money that they spent on that steak.

I can't understand how people eat raw meat. First there's a risk of salmonella and e coli, but even if I wasn't an hypochondriac, it just doesn't taste good and the texture is disgusting. Personally I can't eat under medium.
Sometimes I like going to expensive restaurants (where they cook in front of you) and order well done steak. One time the chef started crying about his meat, and I told him that if he's going to use low quality meat or ugly parts, I won't pay and won't visit there again.
