Hey, that's fine too. I used windows 8.1 on a tablet and I thought it was the best experience between iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows. Obviously 8.1 was terrible on desktops and for the most part phones.

The other day my moms laptop surrender to malware.

I was just about to start the traditional route: Create Windows bootdrive, install (for about a fucking hour), deal with the activation process, disable the built-in botnet, lurk for the obscure trackpad drivers so the damm thing would work as intended, install the kinda useful botnet (chrome, skype, etc) and release it to have it destroyed again.

And then, it hit me, just install one of those baby first distros!

Install process blazing fast in 5 minutes
All hardware detected, no problem.
Install all my moms botnet with a single command line.
Set it to auto update on the background on start up with an other dead simple command line, no need to maintain the system myself.

Thunar or Nautilus is not a file picker. It's a file browser.

Webm related is the problem. You can see previews of files when you click them, but the thumbnails are tiny as fuck, making it hard to find the image you want unless you organize by filenames.

I've always organized by folder structures, leaving filenames as their original 4chan structure. This was fine on Windows, but is a problem on Linux.
