A regular 780 is better than a 970 clock for clock. Only the B1 stepping versions can generally get up above 1400MHz though, so the 970 wins via raw clock speed in general.

Yeah I like EVGA, they have excellent customer service and have treated myself and anyone I know with great service.

They have pretty much the only online store that sells GPU's at a highly reduced cost and I even managed to get a gold rated 750 watt PSU for $39.99.

One year warranty is fine, you shouldn't be keeping your GPU's for that long anyway if you area true PC enthusiast.

Depending on what GPU you bought having it for more than one year may be perfectly acceptable.
