The actual Nokia hardware never left the market, it was just sold to Microsoft and now goes under a new name. Nokia the company doesn't have anything left of it's phone arm after selling it to Microsoft. The only way they can get back into phones is ether by letting other manufacturers use their name or by selling phones made by Alcatel-Lucent, who they recently bought, under their name.

Wonder why they don't just go and put similar sized sensors into the phones today.
Thinness can't be the only reason that's preventing them from doing it and it's not like the N8 was huge or anything.
It's actually smaller than the Z3c.

The camera is always brought up when the manufacturers try to lure people into buying their phones.
If you stuck a similar sized sensor to a phone with todays tech, I'd imagine you'd get pretty amazing picture quality.
In the pic left is N8 and right is the Z3c.
Sure there is a little difference in clarity, but this is about 5 fucking years of technological progress.
When taking pictures inside, the N8 is actually way clearer in some situations.

When the charger falls out, isnt turned on or isn't available.
The phone can then turn itself off at 2% battery and still wake you up in the morning.
We already had this on much cheaper phones.
I can accept that it would only work on the first alarm entry and everything else would work the same but this is not a unreasonable request.

Im not damage controlling. The pencil works really well on the iPad pro especially for sketching and the lightning insert Is very convenient. Make a wall plug or extension that does male to female lightning, and the whole lollipop/dildo thing becomes a non-issue. In fact, all charging port issues except for the mouse, get fixed.

Im surprised someone hasnt made the cradle for the magic mouse yet. Market as a battery extension, give an additional 2000 mA/hr and have a 90 degree lightning plug. Makes so much sense, since Apple wont redesign it.
