Another vote for PowerAmp here. It handles folder view so damn well when you set it up correctly, plus the themes.

I just switched from Winamp to foobar2k.

I was hoping Winamp wasn't dead but there has been like zero progress on it since it was bought over a year ago.

I'm pretty happy with Blackplayer but I have noticed a couple of issues. It doesn't seem to save eq settings and it regularly scrambles album covers.

I asked last week. Someone suggested Phonograph and I've liked it so far. I only care about playing my MP3 and FLAC files, so YMMV.

I tried Poweramp, but I found it to be ugly and fucky. I forget what it did, maybe something overreaching with my Bluetooth connection? Something it did was weird and bothered me...

Oh, I remembered what it was. My headphone port is going out on me. When I tried plugging my headphones directly into the phone, Poweramp kept interpreting the signal loss and reinsertion as commands. So it would skip to the next track and stuff like that.

None of my other media players do that.

Poweramp is good but I need something folder based.

Shuttle+ is by far the best. Poweramp is nice as well but I hated the ui.
