Obviously a traditional homepage is also useless.

What use is your fancy homepage? It's just a bunch of links. That's what bookmark bars are for. Then you can middle click to open a bookmark in a new tab. One click. With your homepage you have to open a new tab first, then click the link. Two clicks. Or if you want to stay in the same tab, click the home button, then click the link. Again, two clicks. Bad. Useless.

download fvd for Firefox play with the options add dials and choose a pic for each from those it suggests then add a background pic. it couldn't be easier.
