2 nights ago i could go into afterburner and tweak my specs to be like mentioned on the box for my gpu just fine. now i have 2 monitors and it crashes whenever i try to do the same. why does this happen?
So I wanted to get a small (about 7") monitor for housing the task manager / top all the time.
What should i get? Pros are USB, not only VGA.
A way to side-mount it to another bigger monitor would be incredible.
5S is already on the way to full-on deprecation within the year. (The next phone release will kill it.)
Most 4's and 4s' died this year to a point of usability which is why there's a class action lawsuit by iPhone4 users.
Hold off or just get a new one.
/g/ recently recc'd building your own speaker by buying a driver and following a guide:
Would homemade monitors perform as well as the kind audiophiles buy?
Can you simply purchase the same drivers, construct a cabinet based on guidelines, and pay a third of the cost for some effort?
If so, why don't audio engineers do this? (or do they?)
Valve has pissed me off to no end with how finicky srcds has gotten. What used to be a fairly simple process turned in a clusterfuck that barely works. After not having touched it for a while, I needed to host some maps for CS:GO and decided to throw up a server.
Ports are forwarded properly, other services work (SSH, Mumble, webserver, Minecraft, etc.), srcds shows up as listening under netstat, and I can connect through LAN.
However, connecting over the internet doesn't work (quits after 30 retries). What the fuck is happening?
I succesfully overclocked my monitor to 80hz, but games don't lock to 80fps. How do I make games lock to 80fps?
Okay, if you have someone public key and a full understanding of the algorithm used to encrypt some data because it's open source, shouldn't you be able to reverse the encryption process to decrypt something without the private key?
I have the stupidest question, the stupidest, most gloriously retarded question around.
I use nvidia cards so if I switched to AMD, would I still get the graphical features that are advertised as being better on nvidia is nvidia biased games?
So basically by getting an AMD card I'm essentially just getting cutprice graphics because 90% of games are "THE WAY IT'S MEANT TO BE PLAYED" because Nvidia pays them more money to use their settings?
Fuck that just because AMD lets Lara Croft have fancier hair
First of all public keys are mostly used of encrypt keys for symmetric encryption to send securely over a network (see ssl, tls, pgp)
Second of all, no, breaking an encryption is hard by design. Guessing the private key from public key is np complete. And bruteforcing an encrypted file is impossibly difficult. Assuming standard encryption parameters were used.
Generally northing breaks. avoid making changes to the bios/uefi until you get the power under control. Specifically bios updates. Also don't format drives unless you're prepared to repair the partition table manually.
Hope you're booting from an ssd
>Hope you're booting from an ssd
>Generally northing breaks
so the whole "if the power surges while your PC is on or your pc gets the plugged pulled unexpectedly it has a good chance of destroying components" thing is a lie?
I waited 40 days but that was over a year ago. I hear it's much faster now.
It's worth it however. But ditch your dreams of imap, the whole service is designed for the Web and used Web pgp.
Something *might* go wrong. I strongly recommend getting a ups. What you really should be worried about isn't hardware breaking but losing unsaved code/paper/homework or corrupting your os.
I placed my cooler on top of my processor and I can kind of see some thermal paste easing its way out since I had to adjust the cooler a bit to screw it in. Once it heats up is there a good chance the paste will leak onto the motherboard and kill it? Should I just take the paste off and reapply?

i have one but it's only like 200 or 300W so it overloads and fails if i'm playing a game for example.

Hey guys, I'm trying to install Windows with a USB drive, I used WIN USB to format the drive with the ISO, and booted from it, now I'm stuck here.
Help please, got any guides for this?
When testing a boolean value you don't need "== false". Use the "!" when needed.
What you should be doing is returning "IsScoreUpdatedByGoalShot" directly.
So your code is OK but most of it is unnecessary.
I honestly don't know what I'm doing friend, I don't have a disk drive to work with so I tried installing windows on a USB and boot from it...
The thing says "install windows" on it when I boot with it, it just doesn't detect whatever it needs on the USB....
I have Ubuntu currently installed and I want to whipe it and switch back to Windows.
try installing from a usb 2 port. win 7 doesn't have usb 3 drivers and can't read the installation medium. if that doesn't work you might have to disable usb 3 and/or enable SATA compatibility options in your bios.
So when I try and boot from the partition, it goes immediately back to BIOS, when I try and boot from the USB drive it launches the installer
I got a gigabit switch recently
according to my modem, it is receiving a 1gb connection because the light is green, but my computer says it's receiving 100mb and the light is orange, what gives
I bought pic related because my headphone jack broke somehow. Problem is the volume is really loud. even on 1 it is too loud. Is there anything I can do to fix it software wise? thanks
So im making the switch from AMD to intel and i got my motherboard. I heard that supposedly i have to format everything and start fresh. I have alot of shit and really dont want to reinstall my OS so is this truly necessary? Cant my HDDs work with the new mobo?
if you believe nvidias marketing hype, the new cards will be 10 times faster. if you read the fineprint, though you'll see that this is only in ver specific, non-gaming related scenarios.
i wouldn't expect more than a 5-10% performance increase.
the new amd and nvidia cards are coming out in Q2 - Q3
>i wouldn't expect more than a 5-10% performance increase.
you're wrong. HBM will be a significant increase in performance, and the compute performance will likewise be significantly increased because maxwell is shit in that regard.
it won't be 10x faster, but it will be much better than maxwell.
what are you getting 4k for? to meme and say you have it? because films right now and for the next 5 years at least are going to be 1080p. websites are scaled for 1080p . video games that are 4k need top of the line video cards and if you decide to not play video games in 4k the upscaling looks like shit on most games.
Did I fucked up? Fuck this meme cooler, you need to be an octopus to fit this thing.
It's pretty good, can sometimes chug to a halt if you are doing something intensive like rendering or playing pretty vidya
I like it honestly. But sometimes man, sometimes I wanna drag thew developers out of their basements and make them sit there and try and open a new tab when it starts to choke up, the rage educing feel of a 1 minute load time on a page you've had open for hours when you switch from one tab to another. Christ man
if you have cash to burn on unnecessary quality, i recommend the zowie fk1/2. subtle aesthetic, variable dpi on the bottom, no retarded 9 button rainbow led panel, and a good small form for fingertip grip. a bit too thin for my fat hands though. if you're a poorfag don't waste your money on a good mouse.
i haven't bought a keyboard in 4 years so i won't comment much there but i have no complaints about my rosewill mechanical.
what happens if I power a dc motor with a supply larger than it's intended voltage, does shit blow up? does it wear it down faster or damage it in some way? I have literally no electrical engineering experience and I can't find a good way to phrase the question in google so I've come here
it'll spin faster. there's a linear relation between voltage and motor speed. if you let it spin too fast for too long you can destroy the bearing or overheat the coils.
i'm a mechanical engineer, not electrical, so i can't elaborate more than that.
How do I properly parse whitespace paths into bash?
For instance, I've got a video "foo.mp4" in a directory named "foo bar", and the path to it would look like /home/user/foo bar/foo.mp4. Next thing I want to do is I want to play it using mpv, so what I would do is I wouldmpv /home/user/foo bar/foo.mp4but bash goes full retard in the whitespace. What do?
>inb4 don't use spaces you mong
>inb4 rename your shit so it has no spaces
I need to replace this drive, but this fucking file is preventing me from doing that. I (stupidly) installed windows with every one of my drives plugged, now I have this .dll file stuck on this drive.
If I remove the drive, I get a "windows failed to start due to hardware change" black screen.
How do I fix this issue so I can get rid of this drive and pop in a brand new one?
the bearing is the limiting factor for exceeding the voltage rating in short bursts (rpm is the real limiting factor but that won't be exceeded at the rated voltage). it could spontaneously disassemble at even 110% rating if your motor is cheap chinese shit. keep that in mind. if your motor has adequate load then that probably won't happen, it'll just start to overheat.
I'm trying to use my 3ds sdhc on my computer and I got the card reader and etc.. its making me format before I can use it but every time I try to format it says unable to complete, when I do it through computer management it says the device is not ready, what am I missing here?
Im learning my way as a technician and naturally I bought many spare drives for backups and testing, however they all use usb 3.0 cases and ofc all my clients still have usb 2.0 ports. I know usb 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0 but is there a chance, even a slim one that issues could arise when doing for example sector by sector images or any other low level stuff in DOS and the like?
I’m on Debian Jessie with fluxbox 1.3.5 as WM and have xrandr 1.4.2 installed. My laptop has a 1280x800 monitor and the external monitor has a resolution of 1280x1024. I’d like to setup X such that each monitor (or `output´) shows an image with a resolution of 1024x768 (without scaling to physical size) and that together they form one continuous screen with a resolution of 2048x768; by continuous I mean that by maximizing an application window it should span across both monitors (each of them showing one half of the window).
I hope I got the vocabulary right.
Thanks in advance.
the program source code won't help you unless there is some fatal flaw in its design
the key generation process involves using random data, the source code of the program doesn't contain nor reveal what that random data could have been
I'm trying to use my TV through the on-CPU GPU, but it won't output at 23/24hz even though it works with my other system that has an nvidia GPU.
Any ideas why this might be? Could the DVI-HDMI cable be the problem?
When playing games my i5 3570k CPU (stock clock at 3.4 and stock cooled) goes up to 100% while my 280x stays at right about 50.
My CPU will eventually overheat and the PC reastarts.
eBay said the GPU was 850 MHz, but MSI Afterburner says 1000.
I was mistaken, amazon has the note 3 for $180
I have the pic related window popping up whenever I try to type on my hexchat with some IME turned on. The text appears in that box first and has to be approved before I can send messages, it's really annoying. Any idea how to make it go away and be able to type directly in the program?
Chromium is just as much of a botnet as Chrome. Just like Chrome it reguraliry ophones home to google with statistics about what you do and there is no way to disable that.
You could try Arandr.
If you use firefox 43.x, go to about:config and set xpinstall.signatures.required to false.
I recently built a new computer and tried to install windows 7 on it. As I don't have an optical drive, what I did is boot under linux, create a virtual machine that does HDD passthrough with the drive I wanted to install windows on and install windows. It went fairly well but when I try to reboot natively under windows my peripherals (mouse, keyboard) do not work, thus I can't install my drivers. I tried to install some of the drivers using the virtualbox method I just explained but to no avail. Does anybody have a solution in mind ?
>If you use firefox 43.x, go to about:config and set xpinstall.signatures.required to false.
I found this solution on google but apparently the option will be removed with the next update. They're begging me to switch browsers.
I believe 43 is an ESR, you'll have a few months before having to switch to a developper edition that doesn't require extension signing.
I personnaly almost completely switched to elinks.
When you guys are talking about encrypting files before sending it to Dropbox, are you encrypting each file or do you have a big folder that you have to re-upload each time you save something inside it?
I'm looking for a program that encrypts each file, does AES Crypt do that? Or are you just using a truecrypt container or something?
When playing /some/ system-intensive games, my PC tends to shut down either mid-game, or ~ an hour after I'm done gaming. After it has shutdown it won't boot back up again unless I either turn the PSU on/off several times, or wait several hours.
Second problem is that when I turn off the PC, but I don't disconnect the power socket from the wall, it will randomly turn on again a few hours later but the PC will fail to boot. After this happens the clock displays the time at which the PC turned on, but failed to boot.
I'm 80% sure it's a PSU issue, but are there any other possibilities?
Is there some software that alerts me when I receive an email. I tried using window 10's default mail program but it just doesn't work sometimes. My email is outlook if that matters.
I have no fucking clue how to program, but I want to make something with an Arduino kit I got for christmas like a year ago. My idea that i'm sticking to is a Rubik's Cube scrambler, because I'm tired of doing it myself. There's plenty of code available for solvers, but none to fuck the things up. What would the most efficient way of going about this be?
I have a project but I'd need to download a shitton of music album art covers for it. Don't really care about the bands/genre, even if it would be best to have "known/popular" stuff. How would /g/ proceed?
how do I make so middleclick autoscrolls when moving mouse down in icewealsel debain jessy
Is this a good gaming/streaming build for ~1K budget? For reference I'd mainly be streaming games like CSGO or maybe LoL. Generic twitch shit. Main questions are what needs improving; spend less, spend more, what parts can be better, .etc.
take web development for exemple, you can have your code on one screen and your result or the other
or watch a stream during the respawn time of your videogames.
it all depends, people use them for so many different reasons
Think of it like this;
You really want to get into streaming on twitch, because muh gaming monies. To make the best experience for you and your viewers, you want to make sure you can play games, AND see what the stream looks like, as well as what your watchers are saying. To do this, you're going to want 2 monitors. Because honestly, good luck trying to stay professional when you have to constantly alt+tab out of your game every 5 minutes just to see what your watchers are saying.
tl;dr it's helpful for streaming, and >>52354514
What's a good way to clean this debris build-up on my Tablet's speaker?
What the fuck is this thing on the back of this old 1999 laptop?
My laptop freezes completely if the screen is moved enough while in use. By enough I mean even accidental movement. A hard reset is required to use it again.
Any idea what's wrong with it? Google suggested loose HDD or battery. Nothing to do with the screen itself?
i don't think any sensors are activated by moving the screen unless when completely shutting it.
the fault must be somewhere else. if you suspect hdd issues try booting from a USB and moving the screeen.
Is the Microsoft Keyboard 600 any good?
I want a keyboard that feels like the one on the Pavillion G6 (they're really good imo). What is a good cheap keyboard? Also, I want something that looks good and it's not some faggy gaming keyboard. Thanks in advance.
I can't do anything with any of these partitions except format the F: one and change the path
it's from a macfag thread. some guy was super proud of his macbook and showed it off.
I have a rockboxed Sansa Clip+ and it's not turning on at all.
Hold the on button for 5 seconds. Try resetting with a pin on the back. Plug it in.
When I plug it into the computer, under Devices, it lists Rockbox media player but its status is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
Is this the end for my beautiful little baby? Is there anything I can do to salvage it? It was so qt and useful ; ;
Because it looks like an OS was installed on the drive. You need to change the partition type using diskpart, or clean all partitions and then I think you can allocate the entire space.
>My laptop freezes completely if the screen is moved enough while in use. By enough I mean even accidental movement. A hard reset is required to use it again.
If the screen stays on, its likely nothing with the screen. Can confirm, if you remove the HDD even for a split second the PC will hard lock and the screen will stay on. I can't see moving the screen doing this unless the chassis itself is bending slightly when the screen moves causing a disconnect somewhere.
Only other thing I can think of is maybe something is making metal to metal contact when the screen moves and its causing it to lock up? Would be a long shot.
I will try that.
Yes, the screen stays on. Just no mouse or keyboard input reflected onscreen so seems like a hard lock. No idea at all about what internal movement could be happening.
What do I replace this trash router with?
It constantly drops my connection, but without the lights changing color.
I'm pretty sure it's because it's old since all my drivers and such are updated and I have no feedback issues at all.
Yeah, screen lock is stupid. Why delete after ten tries? What if stupid phone pocket dials and this happens... and it did to me today. A design flaw is what it is.
It was just sitting in my pocket when it decided to come on and fuck my day up.
To further explain, my phone keeps glitching while on calls, apps and on the charger. This was inevitible.
Isn't an image format just a set of rules for interpreting a file and displaying it on the screen?
Could I just come up with my own image format right now?
The dry toothbrush idea worked surprisingly well, thanks anons!
feels good to be honnest family
About right. One of the best routers around IMO. Netgear has similar specced routers but I prefer ASUS much more.
You could actually go higher and get the RT-ac88u or the AC-5300 but I think they have heat issues.
Can someone recommend me a multimedia keyboard?
The following are the criteria I'm looking for:
>standard QWERTY keyboard (ie. I don't want any stupid keyboards with curves or angles down the middle)
>high-profile keys (I really hate those "sleek" low-profile keys)
>"Enter" key is bar-shaped, not a backwards L-shape
>really important part: has additional non-standard multimedia buttons (such as Play, Pause, Mute, etc.)
>bonus: additional programmable buttons for customized functions
>doesn't have to be "gaming quality" (ie. membrane keyboards are okay)
>preferably wired (if wireless, then either rechargeable or can be plugged in to be wired)
>price within reason (I'm not gonna pay $600 for a keyboard)
I want to know this as well.
Is this good, or is it not enough?
I have a Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-D3H that has 4 memory slots. I'm currently using two 1GB sticks and just bought an 8GB (2X4GB) set. Will I be able to use all this memory together or do I have to leave the 2X1GB sticks behind. I know the memory would be quicker in dual channel mode but I'm not concerned about memory speed desu. I assume it would have to go something like
My internet has been going on and off all night. I decided to log into my router to see if the problem could be there. I see this in the logs. Am I being attacked? Or is this normal?
this is a Dell Inspiron 531.
AMD athlon duo core 2.0 GHz cpu
2gb RAM (1gb and (2) 512mb)
I installed the radeon r5 220 1gb graphics card.
It booted up fine and displayed a little under full resolution but after a subsequent reboot it displayed horrid vetical red and blue lines. Finally after a third reboot it failed to display at all.
what do I do now?
Hey /g/, I wanted some more opinions on this since class starts tomorrow.
I'm an ex aero fag who is changing majors to mechanical just for a little more job security. The mech path requires you to take either physics III or Computer Data Structures.
Which one should I take? I think I'd learn more in physics III even though the reputation is that it is hard as nails at my uni, but I wonder if I would benefit from it that much, and if data structures are something I could easily learn on my own.
So I got a 06 machine from my dad. He literally picked it up for 5$
The funny thing is, the main PC im on now is 08. But you look at the back, it's the most basic set up. However, you look at the 06 it looks like something from 2010 or so. I realize these are old machines, but a machine stills runs for that matter and I have no job, so I'm making due with what I have.
main is dell
2nd is 06 comapaq
I have 3 gbs of sorry ass ram in this pc. So what I want to do maybe is either A. Clean it up and use it or B part it out and see if I can combine the 2 maybe? At best, throw my main HDD in it. But it can't be that old can it? Cause both run off of sata drives and not IDE and I remember computers still using IDE back when. So, wouldn't a motherboard then be better than it was er what?
I think I should fix it up and sell it with like Mint in it or Ubuntu. What do you guys think?
I made a stupid simple program for betting on two-team games of any kind. It works on all three major platforms and can export databases to JSON strings to be imported elsewhere. Would there be a demand for this kind of software? Where would I publish it if I wanted to offer compiled versions for a price, but the project files freely available to those who want to build it themselves?
tldr I made a thing and would like to know where people post their software to get a few bux from people who might need it.
Anybody here using KMSAuto and have some experience with it? Is it secure/open source like the other KMS activators?
I scanned over it with a bunch of different anti virus programs and it seems to be very clean
But yeah i'm using it for a virtual machine anyways so i should be good in any case right
So i tried using KMSAuto but after the activation process was done i got a window saying "The program was unable to activate the product in Automatic Mode - Try to force the GVLK key for your product version in system tab and repeat the activation process".
When i tried doing that i got another error message in there saying "Key installation failed."
Additionally there was also a message in the program operation log window saying "The system has problems with activation!" or something along those lines
Anyone have a working KMS activator which isn't an useless buggy piece of shit?
I recently reseated my RAM. When I checked my system properties, it says I've got 16GB installed, 11.9GB usable.
Is that a normal result of Windows consuming a couple GB of RAM to operate, or does the fact that 4.1GB of my RAM isn't usable mean one of my cards isn't seated right?
Im trying to use MinGW for the first time. i have all the necessary packages installed and according to
i created a new user variable called path (since it did not exist) and added the C:\MinGW\bin directory to it. The site instructions clearly say to not mess with the system path variable, only the user path variable.
I went back into cmd and tried the gcc and g++ commands and neither were recognized.
I go gack to my environment variables and add the mingw/bin directory at the end of the system path variable. and gcc as well as g++ were recognized this time..
why is that? is it a typo on their website? or was I doing something wrong? Id rather avoid messing with system variables if could. but why is my system not recognizing the user path variable then?
mpv has recently begun flickering the contents of any other active windows when I scroll around in them, particularly Firefox. Is there some magic configuration variable that might remedy this?
There's this smartphone application that behaves like a two-way radio. You connect to a channel number, and talk to whoever is on the other end. I really like the idea of sharing the channel number on a message board and talking to people from all over the world. It is
really interesting talking to anons IRL.
The application is called 'Two Way: Walkie Talkie' and is available for Android and iOS.
Be conscious that others may be listening to your conversation. Be careful what you say - don't reveal your exact address or anything like that.
Be aware the app is fairly buggy and you should expect it to crash on occasion. Force-stopping and re-entering the app usually provides a solution.
>The channel number is 757575.
foobar2000 decided to stop recognizing MilkDrop 2. http:// www.head-fi dot org/t/557054/foobar2000-milkdrop-avs-together-at-last This is is all I do and it refuses to work. Worked in Win10, worked for years on Win7, now that I return to 7, not recognizing it. Only different thing I did was install foobar throught ninite, but I've since reinstalled traditionally. FUCK this has me so angry.
How can I download images from from a Reddit subreddit?
I'm looking for something to crawl though a set page number, or since the beginning of the subreddit, and have it download all the images, with imgur gallery support.
Closest I've found is rippit which allows me to only download the most recent 1000 images. I'm looking for a program, or a way to download basically every image.
If I'm not mistaken part of the issue is you're running a server on the same pc you use for steam. This used to be fine but afaik that changed more than dj khaled, at least for csgo. Try running it with steam fully closed.
When I plug my laptop into my monitor the headphone jack stops working and all sound goes through the monitor speakers, anyone know how to fix?
laptop is an asus vivobook and a benq monitor
so i want to get into website development and i have this idea for a site expect i have no money. i checked namecheap and i can get a domain for .88 cents a year but hosting is 38.99 a year? is it really this expensive for a website?
I recently bought a new PC, and am using an old HDD full of games/movies. My Steam directory is on there, and many are installed.
The old PC was Win7, the new is Win8. Am I going to need to reinstall my games since it was on Win7, or should I be okay?
Also, there's what, a handful of help subreddits, and you'll get bashed for just about anything. I've seen multiple Reddit help on /sqt/, so it's not that uncommon.
Is h170 motherboards pointless now with Bclk overclocking and higher DDR4 speeds giving increased performance in cpu heavy games?
also 6500 vs 6600?
By the way, I found a way to do what I wanted, but I never found the original solution to my original problem, so my solution only works for programs that behave the way the one I'm trying to record does, and is not an all-compassing solution for all program resolutions smaller than the native res of one's monitor, unfortunately.
Once you start recording, right click your "monitor capture" under your "source", which is under your "scene" in the main OBS screen- the very one you see when you first open the program-, and under "position/size", click "center". This will center your recording instead of having it record the top left of your screen when you record in a smaller res than your monitor. This setting stays and doesn't reset to default even after you stop recording. This will only solve your problem if your program opens in the very middle of the screen....
A while ago I heard that drives over 2TB had significantly higher failure rates compared to ones below 2TB. Is this still true or are they comparable now? Also 4TB or 6TB for growing room?
what is the best program to play android games on PC? I've look into a few but still, so far I heard droid4x and windroy are the best, bluestack is the most "known" and andyroid is good as well.
I found this in my dad's old 775LGA tower. Can this work In my z170 boards?
Density is higher when the HDD has higher storage capacity, so yeah failure happens when the drive is physically damaged, either by the climate (cold/hot weather and humidity) or human mistakes (dropped it, etc) and higher density means it will be more easily affected by such things.
Personally I'd avoid any 3TB HDD and any multiple of 3 (including 6TB). Afaik they're the most subject to failures on the market. I'm using a 2TB Seagate in an external USB 2.0 Box (as a portable HDD basically) and even though it's slow as fuck (can't even seed more than 100 torrents at once without restarting, but I should probably blame the slow USB adapter too), it never caused failures nor drive warning so far. Though the next HDD I'm gonna get will be 4TB, probably Western Digital, the reviews were good.
Install Remix OS in a separate partition or in a virtual machine, it was released like 2 days ago, it's literally an Android port for PC. Check the archive of /g/ for links and stuff.
All the programs that emulate android for PC are spyware ridden crap, I'd recommend to stay away from them.
Is a PCIe m.2 drive worth buying?
Want to install OS and some highly used applications.
Ok, I found something that could help, but I have almost no coding experience.
Says to "compile the code" , how do I do that? I know how to run the shit though the cmd prompt, but have no idea how to compile it first.
I have heard about the 3TB drives too but I always assumed that they were binned 4TB drives and thus less reliable so I didn't think that it would extend to 6TB drives as well.
Thanks for the answer.
Bluestakcs is literally spyware, I installed it a while back and uninstalled within the same day. The others are just buggy bloatware imo but if you still want to try them then good luck.
How would you spot a skipped frame with a long exposure shot if I may ask. I would say you need a really short exposure like a highspeed camera. Or are skipped frames white or black or something in that case i get it.
Building my first PC, is an i5 4690K a good processor for the now/near future?
