Had satellite for 18 months before a wisp came in and now I have lowly 6meg/1meg. Still hit up the redbox every once in a while.

I know that feel op, got about 125 DVDRs and 40ish CDRs. I actually go through CDRs faster cause I my car does not have USB or AUX but the stereo can handle MP3CDs.

usually when i dont have a free usb i just use a cd or a dvd
just keep them man, not everything is a rush to get rid of things
ie. when you get paid do you immediately spend as much money as possible or do you just spend it on the things you need?

I have a stack of DVDs I use for OS images. Haven't gone through all of them, and likely won't any time soon. But I'm not in a rush to use them up either.

I keep using CD and DVDs from time to time for PS2 games and music on my car.

I trhew like 60 DVDs of anime from my high school days into the trash like two months ago.

I have boxes of blank CD/DVD's. Some office supplies store closed down in a rural area and I literally got around 15000 or so blank ones. I actually wrap up a stack and give them away for xmas and birthdays.
