That cost saving isn't worth it for potential damage.

I've ordered plenty of warehouse deal stuff and the only time it bit me in the ass was with a 32" TV that had broken bezels and a small group of dead pixels. Plus if it's fuckered too badly to use you can always send it back and get a refund, so I wouldn't worry too much

pretty happy with my warehouse deals, my 24' screen had 3 key sized scratch marks on the plastic and was 20% off

Everything I've bought from their Warehouse section has been a disaster. The latest was a Corsair K70 that was described as having zero flaws, which arrived with one of the legs completely snapped off (and not in the box, so it didn't happen during shipping).

At least they arrange collection of their shit, instead of making you return it.

In my experience, they usually put the minor cosmetic damage disclaimer on almost everything, even if it has none, just in case it does.
I usually get the warehouse deal if they have one and save a few bucks on everything - I got a normally $600 reciever for $350 in "acceptable" condition with the plastic film still on the front, because it was missing a $3 wifi antenna.
Only times I've noticed any problems, open boxes aside, were a slightly banged rear corner on a speaker ($100 off), and a mouse where the LMB didn't work, which I returned with no problem.
